Bad customer service

Would not recommended. Hired them thinking they were the movers not a dispatch company who had another company pick up my items. The delivery took over 25 business days and I was in continued contact with them and they never once told me a different company was handling my delivery. I was charged over $500 day of to move my items from the freight elevator to my apt not even halfway down the hall. Boxes torn. And not all arrived. Horrible customer service. Would not recommend them or cross country moving who they handed my contract to for my items to be lost and left behind.

RUN!!!!!!!! Broken furniture, doubled price, terribly ripped off!!!!!!!

DO NOT USE!!!!!! I was insanely ripped off!!! First off. the originally representative that took down my inventory over the phone left things off of my list so my estimate was never even semi close. I then emailed the guy and was told it’d be fixed. That was just the first of many lies, but of course, they already had my deposit so what I was trapped… then the moving company came and said they were going to charge me an extra $1700 to move my sectional. I decided not to bring it and the move somehow still costed me double my estimate, a whopping $7,000. It took a month for me to get my stuff. Several things are broken (including a mirror and two dining room chairs) and all of the supervisors that work at the brokerage can careless. I’ve spoken to several so far. I was offered a small reimbursement if I promised and signed paperwork to not leave reviews/contact the BBB, but as you could see, that small amount wasn’t even worth it. I’d rather warn others!!!!!!!!! I hope they all get karma.

An absolute nightmare.

Please stay away from this company if you want your move to be a positive experience. It's taken me a while to get over what Eagle put me through. It was truly one of the most distressing and upsetting experiences of my life (I'm almost 40). They assigned me to a moving company in Seattle that, I truly believe, was a front for a criminal business. This company essentially stole my belongings for 3 months and threatened legal action after I called to asked about my belongings. When they finally arrived SEVERAL MONTHS LATER, I was met with a full fledged con: they demanded an extra $800 in cash as the moving truck couldn't fit on my street (this is a boldfaced lie) and needed to use a UHaul instead once they arrived in Denver. The owner of the company told me to "fuck" myself when I called and asked about the price. I called Eagle Moving Group in tears several times. They provided me little to no information and were incredibly hard to get in touch with. They told me time and time again they couldn't help besides calling and asking the moving company about the status of my belongings. I was scared that they would ruin my belongings or not bring them at all. When they arrived finally, most of my stuff was broken or damaged. My TV was completely shattered (despite the moving company PACKING IT THEMSELVES). Most of the boxes were in abysmal condition. They looked like they had been thrown around, stepped on, smashed, etc. I never heard a follow up about this experience from Eagle Moving Group. No one called to check in. I received no compensation. No support. Nothing. Please stay away from this company if you are planning on moving. I implore you to take every word of this review as fact - it is - and choose literally any other company to work with. I am honestly surprised they are still in business. Shame on you, Eagle Moving Group. What was supposed to be a positive experience for me moving to a different state turned in to a complete disaster that I am still recovering from many months later. I am surprised the BBB hasn't been contacted yet. It's beyond my comprehension how you run your business by partnering with legitimate criminals. You are guilty by association. Absolutely the worst experience of my life.

Terrible experience

Absolutely do not use them. They are a broker not a mover. You will be told what you want to hear and the reality will be very different! I directly ASKED if there were the actual mover and was told yes! I was quoted a low price and paid a much higher one. Was told next day delivery and I waited 3 weeks without my belongings and no answers!! I'm a mom with a new baby in a new city and state! Cost was absolutely ridiculous for my tiny apartment and when you inquire about where you stuff is/why it isn't coming you get no answers. Once you're booked and have paid their deposit they do not care. They encourage you NOT to pay with a card so you're unable to dispute charges and for delivery you can ONLY pay cash or money order. Extremely shady and scammy- not sure how they stay in business. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Eagle Moving Group - the most horrible moving experience imaginable

Eagle Moving Group was the most horrible choice that can be made for getting your things moved. Several weeks prior to our move from LA to TN, the Eagle Moving Group rep, Nicholas, sold me on everything under the sun at a cost of $5,400.00 with the understanding that we were to be in TN by Saturday night, 3-5-22. Promises made but not kept – 36 hours prior to the anticipated arrival, I was notified by them that the price then escalated to more than $14,000, items were to be packaged, photographed, inventoried and picked up by 3-5-22 by 8 a.m. Secured timely delivered by 3-5-22. Reassembled restaged at destination. There was no photographing, inventory, packing, or crating of items. Being completely blind, myself and my cancer-surviving wife packed and brought to the back of their truck items that their movers would not participate in. They refused to pack or safely crate any items. When Eagle Moving Group had Dann Moving show up to our home, the crew showed up already drug/alcohol impaired two days late, and was later witnessed smoking weed in the front of our home. The final arrival time initially set to be Saturday 3-5-22 turned out to be the night of Tuesday 3-8-22. When the driver instructed the impaired crew to begin packing and bringing items to the truck as the driver would then load them, the crew advised that they would not do packing. After an hour of nothing getting accomplished, myself, being blind, and my cancer-surviving wife began packing and transporting our items to the truck. Because of the deceit of the Eagle Moving Group dispatcher, George, our frozen and refrigerated items remained in ice chests outside of refrigeration until Tuesday night, 3-8-22. When the truck finally arrived and was opened, it was then revealed how recklessly, and nearly intentionally damaged all our belongings had been treated by them. It was like a scene from the old Sanford and Son TV show. It was at this time that the complete and utter lack of caring and talent became obvious, as 90% of all our most valuable items and furnishings were damaged, broken, or destroyed beyond the point of repair or sale, of course, excluding our items that never showed up at all. When we tried asking for financial consideration of their destruction, the Eagle Moving Group, through George, became arrogant, irate, disagreeable and vengeful, giving no consideration for the destruction and terror they caused. I strenuously urge that no one use Eagle Moving Group or Dann Moving, as they are untruthful, unreliable, incompetent, and vengeful.

Zero stars

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Horrible customer service and they lied. It’s been 4 weeks and I still don’t have my stuff and they are telling me another 3 weeks. I have 2 small children with no furniture! I was also threatened by their “supervisor “ that since I called and complained and tried to get an answer as to when my stuff would finally arrive that they will not make sure our delivery is last. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!

Was told one price over the phone and was given another price when the movers got here

BEWARE I was quoted 6,000 for a move, and when I declined due to that being too much, he called back with a different price of 2500 to meet my budget. When it was time to move the movers “Cross Country Movers” looked at my storage and informed that they would have to charge me 1200 more to take everything. At this point I only allowed them to take my furniture because my back is against the wall. There were also other people’s furniture in this truck. After talking with them about that, they told me they had other deliveries but would deliver my things tomorrow. I told them that I was told that I would get my things the same day and he then agreed that he would deliver my furniture by 9 pm. I have called and called left messages and an email and no one has contacted me and it is 10pm. DO NOT HiRe this company to provide moving services.

Eagle Moving Group is a BROKER - don NOT USE!!!

Do NOT use this company!!!!! These people are a moving broker. If they contract the services out to a crappy mover you are 100% screwed!!! They have ZERO control over the quality or professionalism of the movers. I have talked to multiple people at Eagle Moving Group and they are very nice, but they have no control and can not do ANYTHING but be nice on the phone and tell you to call back later. I sent a list of 16 complaints based on my nightmare experience with the moving company and the response was was, "There was no breach of contract so we will NOT offer any discounts". They said on the phone during the sales call, you have a full load so it should be 2-4 days. The estimate says 2-14 days based on DOT regulations and TODAY they told me the movers tariff says 21-30 days. We are now on day 16 and past the DOT guidelines and NOW they tell me about the "movers tariff" whatever that is!!!! I can not express what a nightmare this has been. Here are a FEW of the complaints I sent to them that do NOT qualify as a breach of contract. 1-Movers did not blanket wrap my son's dresser and then slid it up the stairs on the top. 2- Wrapped my desk in a blanket so that the blanket blocked the whole desk from floor to the top of the desk using more space to increase cubic square footage used. 3-They did not have any tools, so they could not minimize the space from the metal bed frames or remove the stand from my 65" TV. I have ZERO confidence that it will survive the move. 4-The moving blankets they used were torn and filthy 5-They strapped $3500 worth of mattresses to the ramp on the back of the truck. 6-They left trash in every room. Use this moving brokerage at your own risk!
