Professional and courteous moving company

All my furniture was disassembled ,packed carefully and in a timely manner. Once delivered , everything was re assembled and arrived in the same condition as before the move. The crew were professional, courteous, and extremely friendly. We went over everything together and I was able to call Paul at any time to answer any of my questions or concerns. I was confused about the CF and how much space I had available and Paul walked me through everything. He spoke to the driver several times to make sure there were no issues. I cannot thank Eagle enough for helping me in a time of need!

Do not use this company

I wish I had done more due diligence with this company. The sales representative, Zach Dillion, did a nice job in my initial contact with him and preparing the quote. However, it was inacccurate when I received a phone call from Quality Assurance a week before my move. He left off big items and under estimated the number of boxes needed for a 2,500 square foot home. I was told my costs were increasing by another $2,500. On the day of my move, they show up with a 30 foot truck and then told me I need a bigger truck which will cost another $2,500. That truck would not be able to arrive until the next day which caused addidtional stress and confusion. Zach indicated on my initial move that he would be my point of contact along the way. Phone calls were not returned when I did have questions. I would never use this company again. Recommend using major moving companies who come to your home to give you a quote. This company is a huge rip off. Beware of them. My costs increased over $5,000 for a move that was only 150 miles. I write this review to make others aware of using this company along with any Budget Movers. I've heard so many similar stories since I shared my experience with others.

Deceitful

When I spoke to them on the phone (numerous times) they never stated they were a broker. I assumed they were the mover. They didn't state that the date you choose is NOT guaranteed. When I spoke with the manager they told me that was my fault for not reading that in the small print on the paperwork. After reading other reviews I see I am NOT the only person this has happened to. I recommend NEVER using this companv!

Scam Company - details on how to report if you have been scammed

For those considering Eagle Moving Group, LLC, owned by Jeffrey Griest, out of Boynton Beach, FL, this is, without question, a scam moving broker who will provide an estimate that is wildly low and intentionally inaccurate to get your business, requiring a hefty deposit. The company did not disclose it was a broker and acted as if they were the actual carrier. Then, when the time comes for the move, you can expect a 2-4X increase in the cost when the actual movers show up. You will find this out RIGHT BEFORE you are scheduled to move. We are a military family and my husband provided Steven at Eagle Moving Group with everything that we needed moved and he provided an estimate of $6700. The day before we were to move, they stated it would be at least triple the amount. There is ZERO guarantee that your furniture will be protected as it is not insured. Additionally, the people they hire to move you may or may not be reputable. None of this, of course, was known because they present themselves as a legitimate moving company. Because we live on a military base, we learned that the individuals who they sent to move us did not have social security numbers (and thus were unable to get on base) three times. Please read reviews EVERYWHERE, not just Google or Consumer Affairs (which states at the top of the website "ConsumerAffairs is not a government agency and may be compensated by companies displayed) as they are WITHOUT QUESTION paying for positive reviews. This has been the worst experience with any company in my life. The level at which they gaslight and victim-blame the very people they are scamming through flagrant lies to get your deposit, knowing full well that they are unable to deliver at the promised rate, is appalling. We dealt with Alex, Suzy, Stephen and worst of all, William, all clearly willing participants in this scheme. How this could possibly be legal, I will never know. Wonderful Experience

I had such a wonderful experience from first contact to collection to drop off. The service has been wonderful. The movers were so helpful and really went above and beyond. The service from the operations team was great and they kept me updated on the entire process! 10/10 for Move!

Team was Amazing!

I received professional, friendly service from my request for a quotation right up to the final delivery of my belongings. There was always clear, prompt communication and nothing was left to chance. Thanks for good value for money and peace of mind! Fantastic service. The moving team was friendly yet professional. They moved the furniture with care, respect, and absolute skill. No damage done to any of the pieces they moved, not a chip, and all walls and door frames are intact as well. My first call when I have to move again.

Real Professionals!

Very Happy with how Professional and Efficient the whole experience was, from packing to delivery with not a single broken item. We moved out of season which was quite reasonably priced compared to other moving companies who definitely would not have delivered with the same level of professionalism. I will definitely use Eagle Moving Group Inc again in the future.

Zero communication or help

My wife decided to book movers thinking we were using Eagle moving group inc. It turns out Eagle is a broker and they shopped out our move to United pro movers. Immediately upon arrival of the movers from United, our price went from $1900 quoted to $4300. We agreed and everything was loaded. We had most of our belongings boxed up already and had additional boxes that they chose not to use. Once loaded onto the truck we were then informed that the price was now $5800. We are completely at their mercy at this point and don't see how the price jumped again when it already jumped once they determined we needed more space on the truck. So, after all that the truck departed in 2/21 bound for Texas or so we thought. We left our home on 2/22 and traveled to our new home in Texas and as of two days ago we were told our stuff is in a warehouse in NJ. We were told when booking it would be 4-7 days to get our belongings however the contract states they have 21 or so days to deliver. When my wife booked she was told it would be approximately 4-7 days despite the 21 day maximum. It is now 3/1 and we have no information. |would never use this company or Eagle again and would not recommend anyone else to do so.

Unprofessional

(SCAM) Company are a bunch of moving brokers they hire a cheap company to do the move for you and they’ll raise the price on the quote given. Glad I didn’t go any further with them, when i told them i wasn’t interested due to reviews they seemed to be a bit shady, afterwards we went back & forth. the situation is pretty laughable but strange for a “legit” and “serious” company. (I also am not moving in two weeks i just needed old boxes moved and wanted to see if it was possible, earlier the better)

Scam

It's a scam. 1. The price was doubled the initial offer. The trick: Once you made the down payment and wait until the loading day, there's no way to be off the hook. My quotation was $3,000 and ended up with paying $6,989. 2. The guy from this company vanished after the deal was sold, no phone, no email. 3. The 2nd company showed up on the loading day and was extremely incapable: Loading was delayed for 6 hours, furniture were damaged. At the destination, one of the two unloading guys disappeared after showing up for 5 minutes, and I myself became a non-salary labor working together with the only guy left (whom I still tipped well: I don't blame on him). 4. Forget about insurance and compensation: 8 month after the moving with one totally destroyed desk, two cracked book shelves, and one broken bed head, they offered to pay me $80 and I have never received. Conclusion: It's not easy to find a honest moving company. Better prepare early and consulting your relatives/friends for someone with good reputation.
