Awful service

Please do not consider this moving business for one second. We wish we could go back in time!! Communication and customer support are awful. I never leave reviews, but we keep getting handed around and promised we'll receive a callback, although it's day 20 and we have no clue where our items are or when they'll arrive since no one would call us back. Terrible experience, please beware!

Incredibly rude!

They don't move your belongings; instead, they will sell your move to another cheaper service, raising your moving prices. Do you think all of the recent favorable reviews are a little unusual? Please investigate the companies before deciding to hire them (it should match the name, be approved for, and moving personal items), and make sure they can come to your home and offer you an exact quotation. I was looking for carriers across the nation online when I accidentally revealed my phone number and received a call from someone. This person asks for my address, which I was hesitant to share, then his tone of voice abruptly changes. This has been a whole nightmare!

Terrible moving company I've ever used

They offer me a quote over the phone after going through all of the items and boxes we had, all in order to accept my deposit. When the moving day arrived, the truck driver went over everything and called the business to tell them that the help victims truck they sent was not all for me and that I would have to use only one of the trucks.

This was a devastating experience

I am a healthcare professional who has previously relocated for work, and this was by far the worst moving experience of my life. I have three children and planned this relocation six weeks in advance to make it as easy as possible. My first estimate was way off, and the final price was more than DOUBLE the estimate despite just adding a few extra things. My movers did not arrive within the two-day deadline I had scheduled. They claimed to have a "dead battery" and were 2 hours away at 1 pm on the second day of the possible transfer. They were three hours late when they eventually arrive They damaged many of my boxes as well as my file cabinet when loading the vehicle, The movers stole one of our kitchen items.

Absolutely do not use this company they are a scam! They completely ripped off my mother and lied about the price and convinced my mother to cancel her move with a professional moving company. Cross Country Moving Group is a fraud!!! do not use this company!

They are a broker - don't use them

This company omits information, they don't tell you that they really are brokers. My move cost twice as much as they said to me in the beginning. They broke several of my things and damaged my piano.

The entire team of movers was fast and efficient, they were very helpful. I recommend this company, they have respect for you and your things.

This company has very good communication with you and listens carefully to your needs. My entire move-in process was very professional and all my things were delivered in perfect condition.

Move from Oregon to Texas

My initial move price was $ 3,000 and I ended up paying over $ 8,000. They filled me with extra fees for reasons as poor as "this desk is bigger than we thought", and broke one of my favorite tables. When I called the company they didn't answer my call, they just sent me a message saying "we don't work on Sundays."

Moving, more like nightmare

This company lied to me from start to finish. They gave me a starting price and doubled it when I called to confirm my inventory (which was exactly the same) and then doubled it again when they already had my things in their truck. I called the company, but because they hire third-party movers for the move, they couldn't solve absolutely anything.
