Stay Away
GET AWAY! This company is a sham. They give you a cheap estimate, then hire another business to make the relocation for a greater price and expect you to pay the difference. We were forced to pay $1,000 more than the quoted amount. Furthermore, they never provided us with an exact ETA and were almost two weeks late after we paid the deposit. BE CAREFUL!
Poor service
Because the company did not have enough workers and vehicles to help our move, the packaging of goods was not done until after midnight. The delivery was started in the evening and didn't finish until 11 p.m. The third-party claim process was so time-consuming that it was almost impossible to file a claim for missing or damaged items. The only reason we gave them two stars instead of one was because their movers were nice.
Worst business ever! Not to be used
I would give this firm 0 stars if I could. I'm set to start a residency in general surgery on Friday. They were scheduled to move me on Monday. They didn't show up, and they didn't call to let us know there was a problem. We had to contact them and wait for an hour before speaking with anyone. They simply canceled our move after speaking with multiple persons. It's a bad company.
Avoid them!
They are only a dispatch service, and they do not perform the actual relocation. As a result, you have no idea who will be transporting your belongings. You must ask them for this information, and if you do, they are not eager to share it, as if I have inconvenienced them in some manner. Avoid doing business with this unscrupulous firm.
Nice service
I'm really glad I picked Cross Country Moving Group I expected this movie to be stressful and tough but made it so simple and straightforward for me! I am really pleased with the work that was done! He not only accomplished an excellent job, but he also did it at a reasonable cost ($2,000). He made certain that all of my items were handled with utmost care and consideration. There was not a single scratch or dent on anything! Trans United is the way to go if you need moving assistance! You will not be dissatisfied!
Do not waste your money here.
For months, we've been going through the motions with this firm. They waited over a month to deliver our items just to have our bed frame arrive damaged, as well as not having returned everything we sent to be delivered. It's sort of sad because these folks absolutely ripped us off and are giving us the runaround as we attempt to make a claim, and now I'm two months later still trying to retrieve my lost goods from these people.
Do not hire them !
Do not hire this firm; I received the worst service conceivable. They were unscrupulous and disrespectful. I was kept quiet and given Cross Country Moving Group. Everything they did in terms of loading was wrong. This includes stacking big boxes on top and lightboxes on the bottom. They didn't give a damn about my belongings. Even though I begged them to, they never strapped anything down. I was constantly assured that they were the specialists, yet nothing could be farther from the truth. This was a really trying period in my life. I wish I had the financial means to suit them. They did not drive; instead, they loaded two-pack squares.
Be aware of them.
I relocated in August and was delighted with both the price and the people. My bed broke a day later. When I pulled it apart to throw it away, I discovered that one of the support plates had been left off when it was put together. So now I've paid to move my very costly bed and now pay to replace it because they were irresponsible!
Buyer beware!!
Firstly, the furniture was not packed in covers, so they came damaged. I have missing items, and my brand-new furniture looks like it was ripped apart by a hurricane. My whole belongings have been destroyed, and I am quite unsatisfied with both this firm and their shipper.
Untrustworthy
This firm has agreements with other moving companies that are untrustworthy and unethical. First and foremost, when I signed up for this move, I specified when I needed my belongings delivered by, and the salesman on the phone promised me that my belongings would be delivered on time. The day of the relocation arrives, and no one shows up. I practically spend the entire day with my phone by my side, hoping for a call. There was no call, text, or voicemail. So I called the moving company, and they informed me that someone had attempted to contact me and that my belongings would not be picked up for another two days. Stay away from this company!
