They were the absolute worst!
My relocation was supposed to be worry-free and stress-free. The movers were scheduled to come between 9 and 11 a.m. They didn't show up until 3 p.m. to pack and load. Very disorderly, with people bickering with one another. I requested packing because I was relocating a considerable distance. Everything will be inventoried and labeled, I was assured. I would not be let down. I would not be charged for packing anything I packed, only for moving—this was a lie. My possessions were thrown into boxes, resulting in damage and breakage. Services were misrepresented, and I was overpaid, and they are uninterested in a refund for the services that were misrepresented. Please be wary of this business. A one-star rating is generous. We scheduled an easy transfer of our unit, which was projected to be 350 cubic feet. When the movers arrived, they claimed to have double the cubic feet to move. We phoned the customer support line, but they were unhelpful, siding with the driver. They couldn't explain how their estimation was so wrong. I would not use them again.
It was a desaster
We've been waiting for stuff to arrive for a month. Customer service is obnoxious and disgusting! We were quoted one thing only to be informed another. If you're older, they'll try to swindle you by claiming there's an obligatory gratuity. Instead of charging my grandma $300 in "gratuity," they only "charged" her $150. We call practically every day to find out where our belongings are. We were informed we would receive our belongings on one day, but they never came up. Then we were informed no because it was the first possible "delivery" date, which had not been disclosed to us. Then we were assured it was loaded and on its way, but here we are two weeks later, and our belongings have still not arrived. This is the most unprofessional firm I've ever dealt with, and it's been a nightmare. Avoid doing business with this firm. Due to them fully providing the runaround, legal counsel is now being called in.
My furniture was stolen!
I can only presume that the folks I employed to move my stuff took it. After 20 days, there has been no contact, no furniture, no delivery date, and nothing. They failed to appear on a moving day, and when they arrived the next day, the crew consisted of one mover and one woman who simply performed paperwork. They raised my payment to be made on the same day. They weren't ready. This has been the most difficult moving experience I've ever had, and I wish to prevent others from making the same mistake.
Horrendous experience and fraud
I'm quite dissatisfied with the service! They went to great lengths to gain the customer's trust. However, after my products have been added to the inventory, there is NO NEWS! Initially, delivery took 7 to 10 days. They have every explanation (such as a long weekend and other factors) why it will not arrive within the next two weeks. I'm quite dissatisfied and concerned about when it will be delivered.
Shittiest experience I've ever had
Don't utilize Progressive Van Lines Incorporated! They charge you an exorbitant sum to have subcontractors transfer you. They do not consider any customer service complaints about damages or Subcontractors. Over 60% of my furniture was broken upon delivery, so because I did not pay an extra $10,000 for insurance, only the standard policy, they only pay $.60 per pound. That means I'm getting paid about $2 to replace my nice new coffee table! The movers themselves could not speak English and did not understand any of my needs. They were six hours late, damaged fragile boxes, and we're generally careless with furniture. This has been the most traumatic event of my life.

Progressive Van Lines Incorporated in Delray Beach FL is the most unprofessional moving company I've ever worked with. It is a bait and switch approach that has upped my price three times, broken a marble top table and a huge glass top table, and has yet to be resolved. I'd give them a one-star rating if I could. GET AWAY!
untrustworthy
After two months, I'm still waiting for my cargo. They've been repeating "next week" for over a month. Very unprofessional, won't provide any information regarding the cargo other than to state it's on its way with no update. Wait for the driver to contact you, they said.
Never work with this firm.
The entire process was a fraud - they never verified a price in writing, charged $3,000 more than originally stated, packed my house and managed to ruin my table, printer, and other belongings, and now want to reimburse me $54 - I lost $1,200. Not to mention the poor customer service and lack of cooperation. These folks should be out of work.
Interstate move
This business is the worst. Suckered is just interested in signing documents and then breaking so much stuff during the relocation. Because they claimed they did not pack the boxes, we now have no recourse. We packed them carefully, but we watched as they tossed and shoved them onto the vehicle. This would have happened even if the greatest packaging in the world had been used. I would do anything to avoid using these scumbags again.

Companies that transport household goods like Progressive Van Lines Incorporated have to register annually with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Bureau of Compliance is the responsible regulatory authority that manages intrastate movers. Movers should be registered with the FMCSA to operate interstate.
