Professional Service
They were the most professional moving company I have ever took services from. I called for an estimate which was very reasonable, scheduled a date, and sooner than I expected my furniture was moved. they handled my things with ease. The movers were very kind and professional. I'll definitely be a returning customer in the future.
Good move
Customer service crew was efficient. When I had a problem with the carrier, PVL stepped up to the plate. I was able to get assistance after hours, which improved my experience with them and let me realize that the little problem was created by me. This was my first move, and I had no idea what to anticipate. Another bonus for me was that the move was less expensive than the quotation I received from other moving companies.
Excellent Work!
They were on schedule, responsible, friendly, and very competitively priced. My husband and I appreciated the care they took in handling all our things. They worked effectively, moving us out of our apt and into our new place in 4 hours, including disassembling and reassembling our furniture. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family and will use them again.
Smooth Moving Experience!
I don’t have enough good things to say about my experience. They responded instantly to my inquiry and their communication was transparent (unlike other companies we called) expectations were well-managed and everything was done as promised. The crew were by far the best movers I've ever worked with. They were on schedule, and unfailingly patient, professional and fast. Above all, they were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the entire move. It was a long, tiring day for everyone, but the attitude of this crew was truly exceptional. Loved them!!
Items lost, suspected theft, and a lack of responsibility
DO NOT USE NATIONAL VAN LINES TO MOVE. They duped us into purchasing consumer insurance and protection, then proceeded to misplace many boxes from our move, scarred up floors and walls in both our pick-up and destination locations, and shattered many sensitive items, including my wife's jewelry. They did not answer when we attempted to contact them. There were no emails, no phone calls, nothing. Finally, I had to contact their CEO, who did not answer, but I was able to reach the vice president of finance. He maintained that the documentation was completed appropriately, despite the fact that we were able to show that various papers were faked by the driver and members of the perennial Van Lines moving crew. DO NOT MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT ALL OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO ARRIVE AT YOUR DESTINATION. Finally, we're looking into suspected theft by their movers. We lost $15,000 in jewels that they packed and loaded, and an inquiry is currently underway.

Absolute nightmare.
What a poor mover you are. We had two upcoming moves and contracted Perennial Van Lines for our local relocation before committing to our long-distance move from Pennsylvania to Florida. On the day of the move, one mover arrived at 8:30 a.m., but the rest of the team never arrived. Perennial Van Lines advertised for extra help on Craigslist, which they found and came at 2:30 pm. They definitely did not screen the staff they recruited, as they were SLOW and careful. Our walls, ceilings, hardwood flooring, furniture, and appliances were all damaged..
Avoid them
Perennial Van Lines is the absolute worst! My representative, lied about everything, and the corporation will cheat, lie, and take your money. Perennial Van Line is not even a moving firm; they are a third-party agency that employs low-cost movers. Many of my belongings were either stolen or ruined, and Perennial Van Line firm would uphold the contract and compensate me for thousands of dollars in losses. In my perspective, Gold Standard is a criminal enterprise! Never, ever use them!

Avoid them!!
This is not a "moving company." It is a group of demolition terrorists "specialists" who will give you a quote that sounds good over the phone, but they will hold your stuff hostage for weeks past the delivery date, hold your stuff hostage unless you pay them $1600 more...cash or money order of course... and then they will finally deliver it all smashed and broken. I am a real consumer, and this was my true experience. I will not stop until I have sued every single dime out of this corporation. The physical, mental, and psychic torment we were subjected to at their hands was beyond unbearable. I honestly thought we'd never see our possessions again...and now they're all destroyed, crates damaged, and my equipment is all ruined and nonfunctional. We lost so much money since we couldn't move in for about a month and had to pay for somewhere to stay while also sleeping on the hardwood floors in only our sweaters and coats. We were expected to start working, but now we need to replace all of our equipment. These terrorists will be held accountable.
from Augusta to Atlanta
nightmare of a moving experience
Movers arrived late and banged our belongings about with the ferocity befitting their name. After our relocation, we found several goods were missing, and when we spoke with the owner, he responded, "It is what it is, oh well." Anyone who hires these movers is in for a nightmare of a moving experience. Do not hire them! We had many damages for which we were not reimbursed and were instructed to go to court and prove it.

Don't use this company for your move
The packaging, loading, and unloading team and drivers were excellent. While kind, the Perennial Van Lines contact was inept. Throughout the process, she provided inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect information, such as a low weight estimate (resulting in a higher-than-expected cost), a surprise need for crating on the day of the move (resulting in a higher-than-expected cost), incorrect updates on delivery day, a short-notice delivery cancellation, and so on. When I attempted to address this with Perennial Van Lines management, the contact was unable to understand my concerns and was nasty (cursed at me), condescending, and disinterested in resolving the problem properly.
