Identity Theft is a Horrible Business.
This business is a sham!!! They are piggybacking on the success of a company that has a wonderful reputation, has been in the moving business for a decade, and has been listed for over 5 years. This is a "start-up" company that has only been in operation for ONE YEAR!!! They don't provide any customer service. If you phone them as if you require customer service before booking, you will be in a line of 40 or more people. This company has a history of damage and no-shows. Buyer beware!
AVOID! Make every effort to avoid using this service.
My move was a disaster because of this moving company. They are supposed to pick up on a specific day, so I planned my relocation accordingly, including a flying ticket and a lease. The dispatcher did not contact me till the next day, and customer service keeps telling me that they have nothing to do. You won't be able to contact them until you've paid the deposit. You'll be able to discover much better service if you don't fall for the slightly reduced pricing.
Nasty. Run as far away.
The company is a farce, a scam, a fraud, and so on. We were quoted one price and then charged DOUBLE. It was never revealed to me that they were brokers while I was chatting with them. The company they hired to transport us was also a disaster. We were told it would take 4-10 days, but it took 43! We called US Movers Inc for assistance in getting our items transported, and they did NOTHING. We have items that have been damaged or soaked.
Customer service that is unprofessional and ineffective
I booked with this company because they advertised a low rate. The week they picked up my belongings, there was a truck traveling to Arkansas. When I called the contracted moving firm for an anticipated delivery date, he laughed and replied, "You're not moving to Miami, are you?" The pick-up date was on friday. They lied to me about the vehicle traveling to Arkansas that week. I've called several times and each time I receive the same story. Why did US Movers Inc select a transportation business that doesn't appear to operate in the west? I understand that there is a 5-14 business day delivery gap, but they definitely misled to win my business by informing me that a truck was leaving NJ the week and heading to Arkansas. I'm not even sure when my belongings will depart New Jersey.
Customer service is atrocious.
Use this broker at your own risk. They're solely interested in getting a deposit. They don't have any movers, and if they can't get any, they'll cancel the job order at the last minute. They do not provide any updates, and customer support representatives are low-level and refuse to allow customers to communicate with any management. I followed up with BBB as well. This company should not be used.
They are a thieves
This firm misled me, saying I had a little more than $2,200, paid a $400 deposit, and just discovered my space, thus the current price is over 4,000 for the 15' area. They will not return your money but will retain it for 24 months if you wish to hire them again. They were really nasty when I canceled and actually hung up on me when I asked for a confirmation. This is a fraud; instead, go to Penske or U-Haul. US Movers Inc will tell you 15 feet per room, how many rooms you want, and then actually downsize it at the end, charging by cubic feet. I have to agree with the other people writing similar tales, they weren't lying. I'm not either. The BBB should conduct an investigation into this business.
Awful service
This firm should not be used. There are several hidden costs. We ended up spending three times the amount they stated. Overcharged and liars We were charged $2000 but ended up paying close to $6000. Customer service was the most difficult to deal with... They were not attempting to assist, and the representative on the phone was quite nasty. You're locked in after you pay your deposit. Before you sign any contract or pay a deposit, be sure they quoted accurately.
The Worst predators that feed on the sheep
They use your things as hostages, so you need to give them more money, if you don't, they leave them on the sidewalk. A shameful method to steal money from you. The movers were slow and inefficient, and damaged a lot of my stuff, including an expensive TV.
Great movers, back office could improve
The movers were excellent, but the attention of the company itself was bad. After moving in I wanted to call regarding a couple of broken items, I never got a response.
from Tampa to Destin
Very professional!
They worked very hard on my move. I live in Florida so it is very hot, however they did everything quickly and without complications.
