Thieves
Do Not Use This Company; they defraud their customers. United Van Lines, in my opinion, is conducting a sham moving operation against its clients. My girlfriend and I just relocated from Los Angeles to Denver, and we were able to reach someone at United Van Lines within a few rings of a phone call. They are now IMPOSSIBLE to reach in order to receive all of my furniture and other belongings. Phone calls are disconnected, some numbers go directly to voicemail, and emails are not returned. We are frantic to find out when we will receive our furniture, but they are refusing to cooperate. In dispatch, they have promised four times to react with an ETA and have yet to do so. According to our contract, "a corporate official must call the customer to confirm delivery time period before the shipment leaves for destination." This did not occur. The driver will notify the customer of the time period at least one day before the package is delivered. This, too, does not occur. Not to mention that our first estimate was greatly exaggerated. $1659 suddenly became $3005 due to expenses I was not aware of prior to booking with the firm.

Dishonesty - Detriment - Failure to deploy adequate people
Movers worked hard, but they did not bring enough men or vehicles (despite the fact that we informed them we needed two trucks and four men and they claimed no issue), took forever, and cost far more than the advertised price. Damaged furniture, walls, and a door; agreed to bring someone out to fix, but then refused to pay. It appears that we will be bringing them to court.

I was irritated.
I am very dissatisfied with my movers. They were supposed to arrive at my house at 9 a.m. but did not arrive until 12:30. During the process, they were supposed to pack everything and I ended up packing my belongings and they moved it. During the process of moving my belongings, I happened to take my stuff out of storage and I am missing over $400 in items that were stolen from me. I can't locate the screws for my bed, and I'm missing the plugs for my theater chairs, as well as a slew of tools and home things. I've been phoning this firm for the past two to three weeks, and everyone is giving me the runaround. I'm told I may speak with a supervisor, then I'm told to file a claim on the internet.

Disturbing criminals are relocating your possessions.
This is not a "moving company." It is a group of demolition terrorists "specialists" who will give you a quote that sounds good over the phone, but they will hold your stuff hostage for weeks past the delivery date, hold your stuff hostage unless you pay them $1600 more...cash or money order, of course... and then they will finally deliver it all smashed and broken. I am a real client, and this was my experience. I'm not going to stop until I've sued every single dime out of this firm.

Fraud COMPANY, the pricing was too satisfactory to be true.
I phoned asking for a supervisor or manager, apparently they are all out of the office, then the girl puts me on wait to come back and inform me they cancelled my reservation because they "couldn't find any vehicle to pick our stuff", DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I also decided to double-check the address, which turned out to be a parking lot. As of now, I can only give it a three-star rating. The first person I dealt with was quite professional; however, everything has subsequently gone downhill. We've been paying for two weeks and they still haven't given us a pick-up date; all we've gotten between the dates. When requesting a price, also be wary of hidden expenses. They won't inform you that they charge $10 per box, that there is a price for stairs, that you must pack your own boxes and a few other details. I've encountered during on the previous three phone calls I've made.
Look for another company
Do yourself another favor today: don't believe any review with more than one star. They are forgeries. If you could start a review on this topic with no stars, I and every other truthful person would do it because they are criminals, scammers, they stole your payment and do not make any refund.
Please avoid them
You will have the worst moving experience you have ever had. They are thieves. Simple as that. You will NOT be given an in-person estimate. Over the phone, you WILL be given a terrific deal. You will have movers arrive at your home who are not from United Van Lines, and after doing some investigation, you will discover that they have an F rating with the BBB. The total amount WILL BE MORE THAN THREE TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WHAT YOU WERE QUOTED OVER THE PHONE. Then, when you try to contact to resolve the situation, no one responds. Emails seeking a call back end up someplace in the abyss. They are aware of what they are doing and are aware that it is incorrect. Follow my advice and choose a reliable firm.
It was a terrible move
I'd give it a 0 if I could. The daughter was on the schedule. Today is the last day of the move-out window, and she must vacate her flat. After no contact other than us phoning, we were finally informed that they cx the route. We now have to hire a Uhaul and transfer her out of her apartment TODAY, as well as find another moving company! Stay as far away from them as possible.
Scammers
They are not BBB certified and have received at least 15 complaints in the previous 12 months. They charged me $1800 for a relocation that never took place, they increase my amount cause they said that the cubic feet are more than the stipulated on the estimate
I am quite dissatisfied with the method.
We were given a three-day window, and the movers would contact us one day before the relocation. What do they anticipate? Pack everything and wait three days for their call? When the person first contacted, he said they would move our house on the day we asked. Our initial contract states that we will be moving on that certain day. We had purchased plane tickets for the entire family. However, the amended contract now includes a 3-day window time. When we contacted today, we were told that the movers would only call the day before and not any sooner. How can they not be able to choose who their moving partners are? Moving is a difficult process that requires careful planning on the part of families. They refused to inform us when the movers would contact us.
