**WARNING DO NOT USE THEM**
I am person who is fighting for my life with cancer( metastasis) and I had to move back home to California from Jersey City. This experience with this coy was worst than my cancer. I have very little money due to disability and my family helped cover the move. The manipulative way of demanding more money ( cash only) when picking up and delivering is beyond ransom mode. But taking almost 2 months to deliver is outrageous. I called to allow them to rectify and explain why the delivery person demanded cash only or a blank postal office money order,. They put me on hold for one hour and did not address ( DONT WORRY SAFEWAY, I RECORDED THE CALL AND SENT TO MY SISTER-LOL A FEDERAL INVESTIGATION CASE MANAGER FOR THE IRS) I had to pay a additional $500 on the spot in order to get my items due to them having a 95ft truck that they could not turn the corner on my residential street. THE PICK UP MOVERS AND DROP OFF MOVERS DEMANDED CASH ON SITE DOUBLING THE QUOTE ( lying about needing more money ~doubled the cash amount $3000 more-to move more items.. I was not present and had to believe them my neighbors filmed it for me and they only pit on 8 additional boxes and a lamp!) I am giving you a WHOLE HEARTED WARNING…SKIP THEM! OAY A BIT MORE TO A COMMON / KNOWN MOVING COMPANY

Subcontracted to extortionist
Safeway subcontracted my move to Prime Relocation Services, which did the job almost on schedule but tried to charge $880 more than I had agreed with Safeway, for delivering FEWER items! (PRS falsely claimed I had more volume, and also that small truck delivery was necessary.) Safeway was reasonably helpful and forged a compromise agreement by which I was overcharged by only $400. But they should have vetted their subcontractors better!
Fast mover!
Martin, who I communicated with to reserve two movers, was responsive, friendly, articulate about the services and prices, and followed up the day before our move. Onsite, we had Robert and Gilbert handle our loading. Both were very friendly, took care of our items, were efficient, and, very importantly, showed up right on time. I honestly did not think all of our stuff would fit into the U-Haul, but I was wrong! Their fees are very competitive in the area, and they don't charge you all these extra fees for every little thing. Highly recommended!
You move me
For the last two years, I moved almost every four months. I have always used the Safeway Moving and have had a great experience every time. The movers themselves are always hardworking and responsible. They managed to deliver everything with no damage at the due time.
Very nice
I made a solo office move. They showed up early worked quickly and efficiently. They used many moving blankets and were very aware of keeping everything safe. At the drop-off, they moved everything into place for me. It was a great experience. They did ask for cash, and tips were expected, but I think that's customary in this industry. They were good about their masks and conscientious of our neighbor businesses.
Great Work!
These guys just moved me today. They were 15 minutes early (excellent) and called to apologize for being a little early (shows customer service and professionalism). Based on experience with other movers, I assumed that with their 9 AM arrival time, we'd be packed and headed for the new place by about 12-1 PM. They were done by 11 and would have been done earlier if I didn't ask them to take a break. We were moved into my new place by about 1:30 PM. I expected to be done by 5 PM. These are good, professional, friendly guys. It's good to see that the reviews here are genuine; that's why I picked them. Oh, and the price was better than my last move where we moved fewer things. Oh, and all of the antiques arrived in perfect condition, as did everything else. Next time I'll hire them to pack if they do that. :)
Very nice!!
I sought out three quotes from reputable companies in the area for a long-distance move to TX and Gel and Molar provided a quote that was hard to beat. While initially, I was hesitant that just the two of them would be handling the packing and unloading, they were as quick as the four gentlemen who moved me when I first got to move to TX! When I say there is nothing to worry about - I mean it. These gentlemen are the real thing and personify the best of small business ownership. I am happy to tell everyone to use them for their local, long-distance, or small or large moving needs. You will not be disappointed!
Great services!
I loved Martin and his crew of eight. They cared for all my things, especially my piano, which they disassembled and reassembled with evident care. They barely stopped individually for breaks, and we're all very respectful. I was happy they wore masks and took precautions given the COVID pandemic. They came on time and didn't dawdle. Before the move, Alex at the office texted me updates and information and was very responsive by text and phone. Excellent communication by all. I will use them to move back and request Martin and his team.
Use them again!!
I was 100% satisfied. The movers showed up within the time range I was told and immediately got to work. They wrapped and loaded 17 pieces of furniture in 20 minutes. They were very efficient and super careful with the furniture. The entire job took 1 hour and 20 minutes, from start to finish. I would recommend them.
