Had the packers today, we were told it would be two days and a Friday and Monday at that (a bit of a hassle), but they got everything packed and well, which is convenient for doing our move-out clean. Thomas and Lewis were kind, fun, and informative. They were helpful with what needed to be packed and what needed to stay.

Professional Movers!

We found them very helpful before the move, and the crew moving us back was great, and nothing was too much trouble. They turned up with our undamaged furniture and bits and unloaded in an afternoon. Highly recommended! I will work with them again in the future.

Fabulous movers

They arrived on time with everything to secure and move everything. They moved everything without a scratch on anything, and honestly, they're the fastest movers I've ever seen. They wore masks during the move, and I felt no concerns. I've already referred Proud American Van Lines to a friend who is also moving soon.

Excellent service!

Nelson and crew were patient with me, cheerfully loaded the extra boxes, and helped get things straightened out as to what went where. Excellent service, all of my stuff is safe and damage-free. Pricing was stated upfront, well-explained, no surprises at the end, names of movers are on the invoice, and basic insurance is provided with rates. They are a new company, but the owner has years of experience working for other movers. The other two guys seem to, too.

Great Choice

This occasion, I was concerned that I was unable to attend the move due to job obligations. So I had to trust the movers and my wife's choice to pack everything up and take it to our new home, where I was waiting. She stated that the relocation went smoothly and that there was nothing to be concerned about. She was absolutely correct. It was just excellent when they arrived for delivery. There were no problems or broken items, and the greatest part was that nothing was missing, and the pricing was very reasonable. Thank you to everyone who assisted my wife and me with our move. That was fantastic, and I am grateful to each and every one of you.

Great job

The company provided us with three vans and filled them with our furniture and boxes with smaller things. Needless to say, we received our belongings in the quickest period possible, with no damages or items missing. The prices were really affordable. These gentlemen took excellent care of our possessions, and we are very grateful! I'm sure I'd recommend them.

Beware Proud American Vanlines

Don't trust this company. Clearly everyone is having the same bad experience, based on these other comments. Up-charged me 60% once the movers had arrived (an extra $3000) for exactly the things we had agreed I'd have over the phone. I refused to pay this, and had to leave my couch behind instead. They picked up my stuff 2 months ago, and my delivery date was 5 weeks ago. Still no delivery - and I still can't even get a delivery ETA out of them. I've been sleeping on the floor and wearing the same 3 outfits over and over for over a month. Customer support has been totally worthless - slow to respond and they don't care at all. My initial 40% deposit went to them (the other 60% goes to the movers), so they already got all their money and now have no reason to keep working with me or to make sure any of my things ever arrive. I'd have been significantly better off getting a uhaul and doing it myself. Horrible, horrible company. Beware.

Hot Mess Express

ClusterF***: our moving experience with Proud American Van Lines and Road to Load. We contracted with PA VanLines 6 wks in advance of our move date. Three days prior to the move, David at PA VanLines failed to return any of my calls and email. Naomi at PA VanLines told us the company would let us know at 9pm ET details of our move (however the business closes at 6pm ET)and refused to state who in their Dispatch Dept would contact us. ~24 hrs before our actual Move Date since they did not come the day before as they were originally scheduled to, we learned Road to Load (R.T.L) moving company would come btwn 4-6 pm on our Move Date. When we called R.T.L. to ask for an earlier window, there was a child yelling in the background, making it difficult to hear anything Jason was saying to us. At 4:30 pm on our MoveDay, we called Jason from R.T.L who ignored several of our phone calls and texts, stating he would call us back and did not. At 6:08 pm, when Jason failed to call us within the assigned timeframe, we contacted PA VanLines and again had extreme difficulty reaching someone. When we spoke to Kate, she told us to wait 10 min for someone from R.T.L. to call back. We explained Jason was not communicating with us. Finally, Jason called back stating that the movers would not be able to come as someone was not feeling well. He stated a truck would be available on the next day, but he was not sure what time it would be at our home. Kate called again that evening, stating she was confused about what was happening, but we could speak to the PA Van Lines Dispatch Dept next day. Quickly realizing that both PA Van Lines and RTL were not capable of taking care of business, we made alternative plans to get our belongings to our new residence. The next morning, we heard Nothing from either company. No call, no email, and no text. Avoid these companies. They don't know the first thing about professionalism and in the end, you end up doing their job for them.

Dishonest company, terrible experience

First, they arrived an hour late and with no contact. The company first wanted to charge me for an additional Sq ft 486 because they wanted to load it on the truck in a way that took up more room than necessary! When I told them to remove additional objects from the truck in order to evade the 486, they declined and said they had other things to do. Then they charged me an additional $326 for using 8 additional boxes to pack items that were already bubble packed. When I called, they were disrespectful and rude, and then threatened to carry my belongings back and leave them at the curb because "they don't want to deal with me," their exact words. I believe I will. Continue for hours with all done incorrectly from the start! Please Consider My Advice: YOU WILL ADD 1000000% MORE STRESS, and lose Thousands or even hundreds of Dollars with them!  DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Proud American Vanlines

There was nothing about the company's activities that made us overjoyed. They had good knowledge and didn't break anything; I just need to be wowed to give them a five-star rating. Thank you for relocating us. I wish I could offer more, but that's just how I write reviews and anything else online. I hope you all do well in the future, and if I relocate again, I will give you another chance.
