Excellent move
We hired them on our relocation from Florida to Colorado. Our relocation consultant was fantastic, extremely helpful, and simple to communicate with. In addition, the consultant was quite helpful and was always accessible to answer questions. The relocation crew was excellent. I couldn't have asked for more. I was incredibly amazed with how quickly they packed up and transported everything. It was incredible. They were quite well-organized. Because the house wasn't finished, we had to store our belongings for three months. And when we moved in and called to have our belongings brought in, it was done quickly.
Bad service
I've never posted a review before, but this company was so horrible that I'm going out of my way to write one on every website I can find so that people don't use them. Some of the customer service representatives were unpleasant to me (some were good too). But, more importantly, this company's logistics are bad. I had called to amend the ledger for our move, which resulted in a little price estimate change - which was perfectly acceptable. However, I never received an email confirming the new pricing.
Worried about my items
The service has left me quite dissatisfied! They did everything to secure the customer's business. However, once my items have been placed in storage, there has been no further communication! The delivery time was initially 7 to 10 days. They have every explanation why it won't arrive in the next two weeks (including the long weekend and other factors). I'm very upset, and I'm concerned about when it will arrive.
Untruthful, deceptive, and expensive.
Nationwide, as many others have stated, is dishonest in their dealings, misleads their clients, and charges exorbitant costs. We used them to transfer our belongings across state lines, figuring that the convenience would be worth the money. Nationwide, on the other hand, stated they couldn't transport our stuff on a Saturday without charging an extra $900!! I'm not sure why they can't deliver on weekends, but I figured that $5300 would cover the cost of getting my items to me. They told they couldn't deliver our stuff until Wednesday, 8 days after we ordered them, since we didn't pay the cost. So, because we didn't collect our stuff on Saturday, they claim we have to pay a $477 storage cost because our 30 days are up by one day. They'll charge you in whatever way they can, and they'll never deal with you over the phone. As others have pointed out, their customer "service" is unhelpful and unresponsive. I'm filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and I'm hoping that others will follow suit so that they can stop defrauding others! DON'T EVER EVER hire to Nationwide
Poor service
There was so much confusion among their own personnel that they charged my card the wrong amount, three crates were missing from their end, and they only reimbursed me $150. The boxes are significantly more valuable. It's a really inconvenient relocation. It was a really poor service I think that I could find another moving company a Lil bit more serious.
I accidentally threw the furniture on the rocks!
I worked withNationwide Moving through its Houston agent. The pick-up went off without a hitch. When it came to delivery in Colorado, however, they sent one extremely old man to move boxes, furniture, and other items. The move utterly overwhelmed him. Not once, but twice, I dropped my wooden buffet on the ground outside my house. Nothing was unpacked as promised. Total calamity. When I called them, they told me that the nearest help was 85 miles away. Of course, I had to pay in advance. Nice. They're giving me a partial refund, but it's not nearly enough to compensate my wife for doing half the unloading herself. Many apologies. In more ways than one, I apologize.
Beaware
Beware. Their authentic reviews may be seen on BBB.org. I had to relocate from Pennsylvania to Texas. They were incredibly helpful till I handed them money. They stopped receiving calls and began revealing their true colors as soon as they had the money. They refused to provide me with a particular pick-up or delivery date. I had no idea individuals in the United States could be that disrespectful and unprofessional. When I paid them, they stated they didn't accept credit cards, so I paid them with a debit card, like an idiot. I had no idea that you couldn't challenge a debit card payment. I couldn't trust them because they gave me all the signs of terrible service, therefore I declined their services.
Unskilled
In my experience, they only appear professional in public. This is an unlicensed moving broker who does nothing to earn their money. They told us a delivery window of 7-14 business days based on the mileage. We are on day 20, and they have refused to honor the contract to which they agreed. They will not return your call; they do not care where your belongings are or how long you have been without them; they will give you an attitude when you contact customer support, and they will speak extremely negatively to you privately. Record all of your phone talks with them, like I do, and attempt to interact as much as possible via email. Save everything. When difficulties emerge, they will lie to you about who is the manager. When asked to present professional proof of status, they refuse. Examine the specifics of your deal, and keep in mind that no contract can be voided for gross negligence. Even if there is no gross negligence, a judge can look at what has transpired and overrule it. This is a bad corporation that will abandon you and your family. Don't forget that you may request your bank to reverse the payment. Don't allow them to get away with mistreating you as they did my family; hire a lawyer. We still don't have our property, and they won't tell us where it is.
I made the worst decision I've ever made.
Do not schedule any services with these individuals under any circumstances!! They are dishonest and unprofessional people. Nationwide Moving Services Inc will subcontract the work to a moving firm, and you may not get your things within the time range you choose. Read the small print and let yourself 30 days before receiving anything! They have no sympathy for long-distance movers and will request a non-refundable deposit, so you are virtually trapped with them!!
Avoid them.
I hired this firm to transfer my possessions from Washington State to Virginia. On September, things were taken up. Informs me that they are still in storage in Washington and would not allow me to have another truck or carrier bring the things to me. The money has been paid in full, and they are way over the 21-day delivery deadline. Do not put your confidence in this firm!
