DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL. Our possessions would be delivered in 7-10 days, or 6-8 business days, as Nationwide Moving Services Inc stated (and our contract required). We are now on day 18 of being without our stuff, with no delivery date in sight. Customer support at Nationwide Moving Services Inc can only inform us that our items have arrived at the destination warehouse and that they are attempting to contact us. They wouldn't allow us to contact the warehouse or even find out where it was. It took many phone calls from both me and my partner to even get Nationwide Moving Services Inc to pick up the phone and dial the warehouse number. To say we are upset would be an understatement since we are now living and working in an apartment with only a blow-up mattress as furnishings. So, if you value your stuff, stay away from this firm.

They wont give your cash!

Is there a rating of 0? What a dreadful experience. The local loaders had no idea how many containers I required, causing a delay in pick-up and delivery. The damage was far too substantial to be concerned about. They should have cost me for one month of storage, but they continued to bill me $700 per month for five months after the delivery. I made many phone calls and sent lengthy emails to clarify my mistake. I received no response until I discovered the CEO's email address online. My refund arrived very quickly when I wrote the CEO (he didn't answer, of course). They have no idea what they are doing. Locals buy the franchise and have no experience with relocation, logistics, staffing, and so on. Stay away, because my experience could not have been more negative. Pay more and go with a reputable company.

Be aware from them

DON'T DO IT - I've had a bad experience thus far. My container is three weeks late, and no matter who you contact, you'll get the same canned response: "we don't know when your container will be sent, but you'll receive an email when it does." It's not worth the hassle to save a few dollars. Choose the more costly firms. Before joining Nationwide Moving Services Inc, I saw some negative reviews and believed to myself, "Nah, it won't happen to me." I was sorely mistaken.

Do not hire them.

When I originally phoned to set up a date for Nationwide Moving Services Inc When the date arrived, I was given a little TRAILER that, for whatever reason, cost twice as much as what I was informed over the phone. After the delivery of the trailer, I contacted the office and informed them. They stated that the individual I spoke with was from their sibling firm. So I said, "Why didn't I get stuff from Packrat since that's who I talked to and got a price from?" The individual went on to say that because Packrat was unable to attend, they took up my request. Without notifying me in any way that this was done or that the price and size of the transport unit would change. The trailer was too tiny for what we required, and they wanted to charge us $2,000 for canceling the move with them; I refused to pay because they were not the business with whom I had made an agreement. After filing a chargeback and fraud claim with my bank, I was able to acquire a Uhaul for $682 instead.

Abysmal service

This firm should never be used. We were misled from the start. I requested a move/delivery date, which the firm agreed to. I was notified two days before the move that the delivery date would be selected and would be at least two weeks after the given date. This is after they had charged me half the money and I couldn't find another mover quick enough. For 17 days, my family had no furniture (including beds), and the firm couldn't care less. They refused to provide any explanations or work to get the furniture delivered on the agreed-upon date. I was eventually offered a $250 reduction for the work to unload, but it didn't even cover the full labor needed, so I had to pay extra for that. They lack the resources, ability, and drive to compete with other firms, and I advise against employing them.

THE MOST HORRIBLE MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER!!

From the first phone contact from Him, the salesman, I indicated that I needed a small truck to transfer our belongings in. I stated that a big truck would not be able to fit down our road. So, on moving day, they should be loaded onto a big truck. So here we are, with our entire lives packed in boxes. I protested about the truck size, so they placed me on the phone with the dispatcher, who told me that they could get that large truck up the road and that I wouldn't have to pay a shuttle service charge, so I said fine... so the truck shows up the following day, and guess what? They can't fit up our road. This is at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. So the office contacts me and informs me that I must pay an extra $1500.00 shuttle cost in CASH or postal money order. He stated that they do not accept credit cards due to the risk of a dispute. When the driver was asked for cash and had no papers, he responded, "No problem, we'll simply put your goods in storage and you can pick it up." Both my wife and I are handicapped. As a result, they ultimately agreed on a credit card payment. They eventually unloaded our belongings at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday night, with numerous items broken. Sorry for the long story, but they are a group of fraudsters and scammers. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Just keep in mind that they won't start charging you extra fees until they have all of your stuff in a truck.

If you value professional services, look elsewhere.

While some may believe that spending a little bit more would result in a better or more professional service, this is not the case with Nationwide Moving Services Inc. Throughout the entire procedure, from in-home estimation to delivery, we had a slew of problems. Our in-home estimate was offered by one of their "Executive Officers," and it ended up costing us 40% more than we anticipated on move-day. After weeks of arguing over the phone and over email, Nationwide Moving Services Inc graciously agreed to reimburse us for the most, but not all, of the overage. This is despite their website stating that they will stick to their estimations. Both sets of packing and delivery employees seemed outsourced and showed little to no concern for our things or the walls of our home. Even talking about damaging some of our belongings on the spot and then insisting we tip them before they would go. The disassembly and reassembly of our two huge furniture pieces resulted in a damaged dining room table, as well as several sheared-off and stripped screws. We chose not to have them attempt to build our second piece of furniture. Many of our possessions and valuables had been thrown around and then improperly packed, resulting in many damages for which neither the insurance company nor  Nationwide Moving Services Inc would pay us. Several items would have gone entirely unnoticed while packaging if we hadn't been vigilant in tidying up after the staff. This was one of those lessons that taught us that if you want anything done correctly, you should do it yourself. Or, at the very least, do not invite Nationwide Moving Services Inc to join.

Great Work

The Nationwide Moving Services has helped me with my recent move. I couldn't have recommended them any more! They were careful to load up my belongings, but they were also extremely quick. Nationwide is the best way I could have hoped to find in my last-minute move. I need to move around often, and as a recurring customer, I'll definitely get my business across the country in the future.  Thank you for your help and excited to work with you again!
