Untrustworthy
I'd had my belongings for nearly a month. They claimed my belongings would be delivered on Monday, but then they said the vehicle broke down and I wouldn't get them until Friday. The driver was supposed to lmk, but he never did. I mean, if you're transporting $4000 worth of people's belongings, don't you think they should have more dependable trucks? They aren't strapped for cash, I can assure you. For much too long, we were forced to sleep on an air mattress. As I sit here writing this, I am still waiting for my belongings, which were supposed to arrive this morning. I've already paid them, so I'm hoping they bring my belongings. The only reason I gave them a 1.5 was because the people that picked up my belongings were pleasant.
My move
Don't do it! The worst business I've ever hired for ANYTHING, much alone relocating. In Florida, we moved into a spanking new townhouse. New construction. The new hardwood stairs from our door were gauged all the way up in the same manner, indicating that they pulled something all the way up. I had precise directions for them on where to put items, and they absolutely botched that up by putting things in the wrong rooms. They scuffed up the paint on the walls throughout the home. There is a laundry list. We are contesting a portion of the charge with American Express and may sue. DO NOT EVER USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY.
They are scammers!
You're done once they get your ACH deposit. They didn't even show up for our planned relocation. Most likely because we were too far away. Given the other complaints of additional costs and stuff being stolen, destroyed, or simply not turning up, I suppose I should be grateful.
Hard workers!!!
I am happy with my experience working with Moving Nation. I had booked another company but had to cancel last minute because I found out they were scammers and despite having made the reservation with just a day in advance, these guys were there on time and ready to work. They loaded and moved everything very efficiently and quickly and they were so nice to us. I'm a happy customer
Will definitely use them again
This company exceeded my expectations. I have a big 5 bedroom house and a lot of big pieces of furniture that I was worried about because of their weight and size, I expected the price would be much higher and that at least a couple of pieces would get damaged but the price didn't change and all my items arrived in perfect state. They were very good from beginning to end and I am very grateful for that. Go with them if you have the chance
Classic bait and switch
These people are liars and bullies, once you pay, they do whatever they want. They didn't tell me my contract was going to be given to another company and turns out the company they hired for my move has the worst reviews ever. They brushed it off by saying that all moving carriers have a few bad reviews, which is a stupid excuse, but that's an understatement compared to what I've read about them. Even though I complained they still went through with it and also picked my items up before my requested pick up date. Save yourself and don't book these people
from Hartford to Milford
The worst service
These people don't care about their customers at all. They showed up an hour late and I only moved a standing cabinet. I gave the crew very detailed instructions that they ended up ignoring, which resulted in my floor getting a huge scratch. Don't work with them
Professional long distance moving company
Before I decided to hire Moving Nation for my move to New Mexico I did a lot of inquiries with many businesses and asked many colleagues about recommendations. They were very kind and accommodating on the phone despite the fact that I had to inquire about the process and the price a hundred questions. The main reason I wanted to hire Moving Nation was that it offers a decent price compared to other businesses with a similar rating.
Choose a different Moving Company
A losing mix of dishonest and incompetent. We are former soldiers and have done several movements. Initial appearing good prices would quickly increase and surpass the costs of more established companies, if not this provider. We took notes, videos, pictures, and provided a verbal estimate of 2,500 for an accurate inventory of our rooms. On the day of travel, our approximate cubic images grew to 3400. Moreover, we were told that our wine could not be moved, although their employees took photographs of it and described how it was packed. Problems with miscommunications after distribution, two of the local movers left midday after a disagreement with Moving Nation. Customer support is packed with unpleasant characters who rudely told me after realizing they made mistakes they went "over" our move by doing what they originally agreed to do. However, a third party company has been difficult to find as Moving Nation is not adequately established to guarantee your products. Stop it at any expense.
Moving Nation is a bad moving company
Didn't collect when it was stated. Causing house delay closing. Double the original estimate fee, not negotiation. Can not receive a delivery date after 2 weeks ago. Do not send my calls back, nor do you know when or where the furniture is supplied. Sitting in limbo. Sitting in limbo.
