Worst liers ever
They kept trying to charge me for moving; the things arrived later than expected. Worse, many objects were shattered or missing (furniture, ceramics, etc). (i.e. stolen - and the company never found them or offered to look for them). A laptop computer, many high-priced prints, and vintage (collector's item) plates, as well as bank and personal records They, pressed me to return the items, claiming that if I handled the packing, it would not be a "professional" packing operation and would not be insured. As a result, they crammed the kitchen. Their "professional" packing job was to utilize grey sheets of paper - no bubble wrap or other protective materials - and just wrap items in paper, then put them in willy nilly in random fashion into boxes; many things were broken in this manner. They outright lied to Yelp about a review I tried to write thereafter the move, threatening Yelp to get them to remove my review (they succeeded - and a number of their restricted reviews were fabricated by friends). They changed its name only a few years ago, which is generally a red flag because it frequently implies a firm is concealing something, and they have complaints with the Better Business Bureau. They connected me with an insurance company that ultimately refused to support any claim.
It was nice
I relocated a one-bedroom apartment from Ohio to Arizona. The estimate was approximately 50 percent of other moving firms. A two-day window has been set aside for pick-up. The coordinator contacted me 48 hours prior and provided me with the driver's phone number. On the day of pick-up, the driver also contacted me. The crew arrived on time and was courteous. During the walk-through, they concluded that the price would be somewhat more than the estimate (150$), which was OK with me because I had not listed some goods. The delivery was completed on time and without incident.
They are really scammers
They sell a service that they do not provide. The entire procedure was flawed from the start. The first issue arose prior to pick-up, when I was promised that I would be contacted by the mover/contractor 24 hours in advance. Because no one had contacted me on the day of the relocation, I began contacting customer support. It took four phone calls and four hours to obtain a response. I eventually got a call from a driver/contractor who had just been assigned my relocation. He claimed he'd be there in an hour, and when he arrived, he didn't realize he was bringing breakables and photos. He didn't have the materials, so I walked out to get them to expedite the procedure. The salesperson is skilled at making a lot of promises that he can't keep. They hired a lovely contractor for the relocation, but he works for a terrible firm. Hire someone else to save yourself the worry and anguish.
Fake!!!
These thieves quoted one price and then phoned me three days before the scheduled move to tell me that it would be an additional $1,400 for my items. Nothing in my list of products to be shipped has been modified from the initial quote. On a Friday, he called after business hours, so I couldn't speak with him. I'm also observing that for every negative review, two or three positive reviews with five stars appear. That is something I am also questioning. I've filed complaints with the Moving APT office and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. They profit by under-quoting but giving a credible price and keeping your payment. It's awful. It also appears that this corporation has had other enterprises and simply changed their license number and name to re-enter the market. Everyone who has had a terrible experience should submit a complaint with the Florida attorney general's office and the FMCSA. A message to Moving APT. I will continue to expose your firm as the swindlers and criminals that it is. I am confident that when this review is submitted, they will receive a couple of 5-star reviews to keep their numbers up!!!
Be wary of this business.
Going with Moving APT seemed like a smart idea at the time, but oh was I wrong. I was provided inaccurate information about when my furniture would come, and to make matters worst, when my furniture did arrive, some of my belongings were broken; I inquired about it, and the drivers had no knowledge of it ( not shocked at all). I'm really dissatisfied with this firm, and to be honest, a star isn't worth putting up. When your own employees speak negatively about the firm, you know something is wrong. They are quick to express their policies, but they will not assist you if you have queries regarding broken furniture that was completely good when it left my sight. Make careful to inquire about the location of your belongings; I was not informed that they would be held in the state from which I was relocating for over a week. But be aware that Presto will undoubtedly notify you of an outstanding amount... Those who are reading the negative evaluations should believe what we are saying.
Excellent workers
My family had to relocate from Vegas to California earlier this month, and despite the limited time frame we had to arrange the relocation, worked with us and provided us with a reasonable pricing. They arrived sooner than anticipated, which was great with me. Because all of our items were in the same condition, I would suggest it to anybody. Thanks!
Effective company
Moving APT blew me away - highly competitive, productive, and respectful - stayed in close contact during the process - responded immediately to my initial request - and everybody was friendly. The driver was outstanding. Excellent support with a high level of professionalism. Thank you so much. Really pleased and impressed. It is something I would suggest.
Please Stay away from this mover!!!
All, absolutely all my things arrived with damage. I tried to communicate with the movers but never got a response. I called the company and they only offered me a $ 100 reimbursed, which I found offensive. It was horrible
I strongly recommend their service!
It was a good service. Communication was pretty good too. If you want to save yourself a lot of headaches, call them!
from Fort Collins to Denver
Long-distance move from NY to TX
They called to reschedule the move date and still arrived 5 days after that date. They charged more than what they quoted me, and I am still waiting for my things.
