AVOID THEM

Had agreed on an acceptable fee for a transfer. Later, I received a call saying that they didn't know my address wasn't in the area they thought it was in, so they charged me an additional $400.00. On the phone, their customer service representatives are really unpleasant. AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Take the advice of the many other people who have reviewed it.

Un satisfactory

Do not do business with this company - I wish I had done more research before utilizing them!! You'll find them if you look up the definition of "bait and switch"!! As everyone else has stated, they must have purposefully overpriced your relocation, so prepare to pay more than twice what they tell you!! Movers continued delaying pick-up - I phoned our Moving Mid national representative to express my issue - he never returned my call!! Was given a quotation of $4k, but when the movers arrived, they demanded approximately $9k, and we didn't add anything!! We did, in fact, deduct a few items - Movers were two days late, and when the moving company phoned us the day following the pick-up to ask how our service was, we told them it was "awful" - the girl said she would talk to her manager and call us back - guess what?! There was no return phone call!! Beware of their ruse and flee!!

Worst moving company I've ever used

I should have read all of the negative reviews before handing over my money to this firm. We went with the estimate pricing because it was double the original amount I was quoted. Because the truck company planned to break the lease by arriving a day early and my belongings were not ready, I elected to change the pick-up date. Then there were further "hidden fees," such as handling a heavy box and needing to trek up a flight of stairs. Now, I have contacted to amend the contract by rescheduling the pick-up dates, and we rolled with it once more. When I looked through the moving estimate, I noticed there was another hidden cost. When I contacted them to inquire about the hidden price, she brushed me off and told me to simply sign the contract. My final straw with this organization was when they told me they wouldn't pick up my belongings since I requested 30 days of storage. This firm has been the worst I've ever worked with. They deceive! It's not something I'd advocate my worst enemy. It's now making my military transfer as unpleasant as possible. I'm currently on my way to my destination, but my belongings are still on base, and I'm not sure how I'll get them back. My initial down payment of $606 was increased to $1825. They are now refusing to refund my money.
