Scammers rob.

They give you a fee, then when the movers arrive and load the truck, the price they provided me triples. I reported them to the BBB, but nothing came of it. This was in February. I see they are continuously scamming people off, so please inform folks not to use this company. They are a swindle; do not utilize them and do not believe the price they quote you. They send a company to film you so that when the trucks are loaded, the price will skyrocket.

This is a terrible business! Don't squander your time!

This is a terrible business! Don't squander your time. They just book anyone who claims they can "move" and harass you with phone calls for days. If you do not respond, they will begin texting you. They are disrespectful when you tell them to stop. The one I had to deal with tried to call me an idiot for purposefully entering the wrong number to avoid getting called and demanding to know how they got my number after he exhausted all excuses.

Don't put your trust in him or the firm!!

I trusted this company based on the reviews on this website. There were no negative reviews. I was sorely mistaken, and I'm hoping this review goes through since I'll be sharing it on Facebook and Twitter. These individuals work as a broker. They will book any carrier regardless of their rating. They sent me QRS with only negative feedback. So keep an eye out for him, He was the salesperson. I began with and trusted him, and that was the last I heard from him. They couldn't care less about your clothes and furnishings, but that's all I have in life, therefore I'll be posting this as many times as I can till I regain control of my life.

Wasn't truthful!

I was mentioned. 68 cents per pound at 2800lbs, and then we went back and checked my material and agreed to increase it to 3800lbs. 68 cents with the verbal agreement that I would only pay for what I ship and would be reimbursed at. 68 cents per pound? Well, my total weight was 3001 pounds, and they only credited me. What nonsense! 15 cents! You will also never speak with the person you booked with; I believe I spoke with a total of 5 different people, the last of whom shouted at me! And you're wondering why movers got such a poor rap! If you enjoy being taken advantage of, this is the company for you!

This firm should never be used.

Do not believe whatever they tell you. There was no call to let them know they were coming. My furniture was not wrapped. Oh, and they leave things behind. And the price is double what was quoted, the amount of my estimate was increasing while they were missing some of my items.

This company should be avoided.

I'd encourage anyone thinking about Midnational to go elsewhere. A few pointers: Do not accept to the three-day discount window that they offer unless you have nothing to do and can be in two places at the same time. You will not know when the movers will pick up or transport your belongings until the day of, usually a few hours before arrival. If you are unavailable, you will be forced to wait for an indeterminate amount of time. Midnatonal hired a moving firm called and they are a nightmare. They were meant to pick up my belongings on Thursday but didn't show up until Friday. The delivery was even worse because they arrived at 1:00 a.m.! Again, if I had stated that I was unavailable,

This is the worst moving company ever

THE WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED. I'm not sure whether this is how all moving companies operate, but using Midnational was a complete waste of time and money. They turned off the lights as soon as they collected my deposits. When I emailed and contacted, I received no response. I had to deal with the drivers and movers on my own. Dealing with a moving firm directly will save you time and a TON OF MONEY. I was not alerted in advance of the pickup. I didn't know the pickup date until the driver contacted THE DAY OF to say they'd be there in a few hours. Fortunately, my apartment was completely packed. The total cost of moving all of my possessions is MORE THAN DOUBLE than what was quoted. This was revealed to me when the driver arrived to load my items. I recognize some of it is my fault, but the majority of it is due to the dreadful quote process. When they asked when I would be available to take delivery, I answered a week after the pick-up date. Now, the moving company is telling me that the 14-day delivery term doesn't even begin until the delivery date I told them. WHAT?!! I would have notified them the day after they picked it up if I had known!! This lack of communication and clarity on their part is OUTRAGEOUS. My belongings were delivered in a total of THREE WEEKS. I handled all communication; MIDNATIONAL DID NOTHING!

Anything else is preferable.

So I recently employed Midnational to transport my belongings from Kansas to South Carolina. The initial stages of booking the trip were simple. When the movers first arrived, I understood this was going to be H*LL. Movers were unprofessional and caused damage to my unit while loading stuff. Also, anticipate adding at least $600 to whatever they cost you originally for additional rates of sq ft and distance the driver park. Getting in touch with a representative is a farce; I was passed around to approximately four different reps in a week. I had planned to have stuff there in Oct (which the agent I spoke with stated would take 7-10 days from pick-up), but another rep said no, that was the first date available. So I spent a week sleeping on the floor. I called the representative again to inform her that I wanted to pay via credit card. For the past two days, there have been no answers or phone calls from the company as a whole. Completely unprofessional, and I would recommend that anyone pay more for better treatment. Oh, and P.S. I haven't received my objects yet after a week, and I'm expecting them to be damaged.

I was unmoved.

I used Midnational for a movie a few years back. I was originally residing in Orlando, FL, and my furniture was set to be relocated from California to Florida. They talked me into paying a $2300 deposit and promised that it would be applied to my total moving cost, but when the day came for them to move me, they didn't show up, so I called and called until I could reach someone and was told that their moving truck had broken down on the way to my storage unit. I informed them that I wished to cancel the move and receive a refund. They stated that they do not issue refunds, but that I may apply the money to a future move. So, I'm relocating from one place in California to another, and they emailed me a new booking, so I assumed I was good to go. Then, after signing off on the revised quote, I received a phone call informing me that they (Midnational Moving) would be unable to relocate me since they do not perform "local" moves. So I informed them that if they couldn't move me, I needed a refund. They said no, they don't issue refunds, and no, they can't move me because I'm relocating locally to another city in California rather than long-distance. No one ever mentioned it to me when they took my money or when I was promised I could apply my deposit toward a future move. I was completely unaware of this policy. When they were trying to sell me their moving services, neither the refund policy nor the local move policy was mentioned. I spoke with the company's CEO, and she confirmed that this is in my contract. That was all she had to say. She stated once more that I may apply my deposit toward a future move. But I'm not moving across the country, and I either want my money back so that I may hire another moving company, or I want them to keep their end of the bargain and move my furniture. My husband and I recently closed escrow on the sale of our home, and we were banking on this moving company to relocate us because they assured me I could still use my deposit. So here we are, with no money and still needing to move because our house has been sold. I gave Midnational my hard-earned money to move us, and they took my money but did not move me. In fact, they've done absolutely nothing to earn the $2,300.00 I paid them. I'm going to do everything I can to make sure they don't get away with it again, and that they don't do it to anyone else.

Midnational moving

Using Midnational is a bad idea. They were really polite and provided us an extremely fair quote right away, as well as an explanation of how everything would work. Nothing has transpired as they predicted, and I am not paying more than double the original quote. Not only did they fail to notify me of potential expenses, but they also brazenly lied about things in order to dupe me into circumstances where I would be compelled to pay more. They became difficult to deal with and nasty as soon as I contacted them about an issue. At all costs, avoid dealing with them.
