Good job
The movers were professional and efficient in their work. There were no extra charges and the price was affordable! Everything went smoothly. They unloaded even faster and placed everything exactly where we wanted it, undamaged by the process. I'll be using them again in a few months when I move again.
AVOID MEGA VAN LINES
The only reason I gave them one rating is because the boys that packed my furniture were excellent, despite the fact that I believe they overpaid me. The first salesperson persuaded me that this organization would handle my cross-country move fairly and honestly, so I signed a contract with them. That was a huge blunder. He linked me to a website that assesses moving firms and gave them high ratings, but I now believe the site is rigged. As my moving date approached, this salesman became increasingly difficult to reach; later learning that he had left the organization, my file was passed around to a number of different persons who were terrible communicators. The dates they claimed I should anticipate my items to arrive were inaccurate; of course, they blamed me, but it was their error. My goods took over two weeks to arrive once I arrived at my location. The "movers" who arrived to unload were a husband and wife, and I was required to assist them in bringing my items inside my apartment and setting up, which was meant to be included in the price. The company followed up with a phone call to check how things went. When they were informed of this, they offered no retaliation for the move-in problem. This transfer cost me $6.5 after a price of $4.5k was given to me. This firm's salespeople are misleading; they appear to care deeply about making sure your relocation goes smoothly, but no one else in the company appears to care.

Don't send anything valuable.
Don't send anything precious with this firm. If other firms charge more, pay them - but never use Mega Van Lines. I want to upload photos of my vintage bicycles and wheels before and after they were sent in a Mega Van Lines container. My container was transported to the wrong address, and it took weeks for me to receive it. By the time I arrived at the container, a major amount of the meticulously packed contents had been wiped off. The firm then offered a few hundred dollars to purchase my quiet and begged me not to publish negative reviews about this company in exchange for the money. Guess what!
It's very awful.
We chose MayaMega Van Lines since we were informed that they did not utilize third-party contractors. They utilized them to transport our belongings! We would never have agreed to this if given the option, even if it meant delaying our shipping. They were able to destroy every excellent piece of furniture we owned, including precious antiques. Despite the fact that it was a "service" they offered, they did not place the boxes in the designated rooms. While unloading our belongings from the truck, they dropped another person's package on our yard. We're still missing boxes and stumbling into destroyed furniture. It's very distressing.
Traumatic! Bad service.
They claim to be interested in your company, but then outsource the job to really inept moving companies. They added an extra $1,000 for no reason. When one fat lady in a truck arrived (who professed to have never moved anything in her life), 1/4 of my furniture was ruined. I had to physically lift everything off the truck and EVEN BUY A DOLLY. It took me 4 hours to complete. They promised white-glove treatment. Then they destroyed my entire art collection. My late grandmother's artwork, as well as three large framed images and prints. I also received a box containing the things of a stranger. There has been no monetary compensation and no trace of my artwork being returned. I'm extremely disappointed since they misplaced the most sentimental and significant aspect of my relocation. This has been the worst customer experience of my life, and I'm considering legal action for larceny. This firm is a disgrace! DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!
Choose someone else
I would look elsewhere for a moving company. The only reason I am giving two stars is that one of the workers was nice and help me move a few things to the dump truck. Everything else was a nightmare. This company is a joke and will break all of your items. Do not work with this Company the showed up 2 days late and still have not delivered my stuff.
FAILED TO DELIVER BELONGINGS.
The 5-star reviews about Mega Van Lines are totally false. They were 5 days late for my move and they still dared to ask me for hundreds of dollars more just for adding two small fans to the inventory. Delivery was delayed for almost two weeks. We were disrespected all the time.
Mega Scam
They are just scammers. I hired them and all the time they were asking for more and more money, even for things that were supposed to be covered. Customer service is poor and useless. It is a dishonest and lying company.
Great experience
The guys they sent were very respectful and careful with my house and my things, at the same time that they moved them quickly and efficiently. They arrived on time and they only took two hours to finish the job. It was a good experience.
So worth it
Everything was fine with this company. They made the move process quick, and stressfree. There were no hidden extra fees and the workers were very professional.
