Dishonest, deceptive, and expensive

As many others have pointed out, Grace Moving Company LLC is dishonest in its transactions, misleads their clients, and charges exorbitant costs. We utilized them to relocate our belongings across state lines, believing that the convenience would be worth the expense. So, Grace Moving Company LLC said that they couldn't transport our stuff on a Saturday without charging us an additional $900!! It's beyond me how they can't deliver stuff on a weekend, but I believed my $5300 would cover it. Because we did not pay the charge, they stated that they would not be able to deliver our products until Wednesday, 8 days after we ordered them. As others have pointed out, their "customer service" is unhelpful and provides no service. I'm making a complaint with the BBB, and I'm hoping that others will do the same so that they can stop defrauding others! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID USING Grace Moving Company LLC!!

Container was late

DON'T DO IT - I've had a bad experience thus far. My container is three weeks late, and no matter who you contact, you'll get the same canned response: "we don't know when your container will be transported, but you'll receive an email when it does." It's not worth the hassle to save a few dollars. Choose the more costly firms. Before registering with Grace Moving Company LLC, I saw some negative reviews and said to myself, "Nah, it won't happen to me." I was sorely mistaken.

Frightful

This firm should never be used. We were misled to from the start. I requested a move/delivery date, which the firm agreed to. I was advised two days before the move that the delivery date would be selected and would be at least two weeks after the given date. This is after they had charged me half the price and I couldn't find another mover quick enough. For 17 days, my family had no furniture (including beds), and the firm couldn't care less. They refused to provide any explanations or work to get the furniture delivered on the agreed-upon date. I was eventually offered a $250 reduction for the work to unload, but it didn't even cover the total labor needed, so I had to pay extra for that. They lack the resources, ability, and ambition to compete with other firms, and I advise against utilizing them.

Foolishy

This firm provided us with a single price and we paid the needed deposit. When they arrived, they demanded that we tear up that contract and sign one for twice the weight! I didn't feel obligated to be present for a tiny one-bedroom apartment relocation for our kid because this was an agreed-upon estimate. They bullied my wife into signing a new contract at double the weight and expense, threatening her with the loss of her deposit. What a shame this organization should not be allowed to do business and clearly did everything in its power to be unethical. DON'T SUBJECT YOUR FAMILY TO THIS TREATMENT.

Mislead company !!

This is a hoax and a brokerage firm, NOT A MOVING COMPANY. All of the five-star reviews are forgeries (notice how not one picture is posted and all the reviews are within the last month). They are a new startup from a bankrupt firm named coast to coast; they change their name on a regular basis to conceal their horrible customer service and true feedback. They appear amazing at first and offer you the world, but ask the appropriate questions and their performance crumbles. For example, their continual "checkups" are a technique for them to raise the price and collect the deposit before brokering it out to another firm, which can only be paid in cash or cashier's check once completed. Furthermore, they cannot promise a delivery date because they utilize your moving vehicle for other moves as well, so your belongings may not arrive for months. Do yourself a favor and contact a trustworthy firm that has its own van lines and will personally transport your stuff, rather than through a middleman.

Scammers!!

I had to learn my lesson the hard way. First and foremost, never allow a moving firm to take funds from your checking account. Always pay using a credit card so that you may register a dispute. After I made the deposit, I received no follow-up phone calls. The dispatcher phoned me the morning before the move to inform me that they did not have a crew for that day. I mentioned that I needed to get on the road due to my husband's medical condition. At 7 p.m. the same night, while traveling in another state, I received notification that a moving van was in my area. Based on my really awful experience, one of their operations managers phoned and offered to return my money. Of course, she never returned my call. They make a lot of promises but don't follow through. They've not heard the last of me.

This is a shady firm

I wish I had spent more time reading reviews before signing a contract with this organization. They are a brokerage with no control or interest in controlling their downstream service providers. My experience was similar to others'..low quotation, raised the price by 30% to transport furniture stating the salesperson miscalculated the amount of room I would require...called numerous times after no communication for two weeks and Grace Moving Company LLC could not locate furniture for several days. They called two hours before they were supposed to arrive, not 24 hours as promised. They tried to charge me more if I couldn't meet them at the time they specified, and when I did, they demanded that I pay additional fees because the very large truck they brought (my furniture occupied maybe 1/8 of it) couldn't get within 50 feet of my house. Many items of furniture were destroyed, including holes in the sofa, a shattered cabinet, and a broken light, among other things. Given the really awful experience too far and the lengthy handoffs from business to firm, I don't expect to receive any resolution on the harm. 

Dreadful company!

I relocated from Bakersfield to Arizona. I'm grateful for the one-month free storage. Staff that delivered items at 5:30 p.m. outperformed partial pick-up people. Their vehicle was 3/4 loaded in Bakersfield, thus half of my little 1 bedroom flat didn't fit. There are no appliances. They didn't have any space. So I had to engage a second-mover, and those items are currently in storage for a price to move, pack, and store them. I haven't figured out how to get that pile to Scottsdale yet, but it will never be with this firm. The total cost was over $7000. Never accept their initial estimate, especially if you speak with Eric.

Bother move.

I was given a pricing to ship my automobile from Michigan to Wyoming, which I accepted and paid a deposit on. The vehicle was supposed to be picked up, but it never arrived. When I contacted the firm, they informed me that I would have to pay a higher cost in the HOPE that one of their contractors would complete their commitment. Staff was adamantly opposed to working with me, and the customer representative who negotiated the contract with me has yet to return my call. This organization cannot be relied on to fulfill any deal they get into with a consumer.

AVOID THEM!!

Getaway! This establishment is a sham. They give you a low quotation, then hire another firm to make the relocation for a greater price and ask you to pay the difference. We were compelled to pay $1,000 more than the quoted amount. Furthermore, they never provided us with an exact ETA and were eventually two weeks late after we paid the deposit. AVOID. STAY. AWAY.
