Worst Moving Experience Ever - STAY FAR AWAY
Long story short, I was strong-armed into paying $1,700 more than originally estimated for my move, regardless of listing my items correctly on the inventory list. Movers showed up extremely late and then refused to pack my stuff because they were concerned cops would be called because of the noise. They said they'd issue me a refund of my deposit but never did and refused to respond. Stay far away from this company! They're scammers!!!
Company is a scam
This company is completely a scam. I moved from California to Florida. They promised me they would send their movers and the day of they sent another company. They wrote in my contract I had insurance and they are always available to speak to. The day comes when all my items and furniture will be arriving. A lot of my items were missing and damaged. It was a disaster. I contacted the company to complain and utilize my insurance. At first they picked up and said someone will be in contact soon. No one ever called and they never picked up my calls. This company is the definition of unprofessional and fake. I can’t believe people like this are even In business.
Horrible communication and Horrible follow-up!
It has been extremely difficult trying to get proper communication from the staff. Now that I have booked with them I can't get a hold of anyone. I'm literally one day away from my scheduled move in the morning Saturday, April 27th and I have yet to be contacted for a time frame! Trying to get a hold of the booking staff and quality team has been impossible.

Worst Ever
Do not get hooked up with low priced quote. They will double it in the end. That happened to me. Also payment methods questionable. We live in 21 century and they do not take CC. Very shady service and customer service. If I could of rate it at 0 stars I would rate them with a minus.
My Go to go moving company
First National Van Lines turned what could have been a daunting move into a positive adventure. The crew was not only skilled in handling logistics but also exhibited a genuine concern for our satisfaction. Their transparency in communication, coupled with the seamless execution of the entire moving process, left us impressed and grateful. Moving with First National Van Lines felt like partnering with a team that truly cared about our experience.
Would rate this company 0 stars if I could
Save yourself time, stress, and money by NOT working with First National Van Lines. We are extremely disappointed with the service we received for the price we paid ($9670). First, the movers arrived 5 hours later than they advised they would arrive for pickup. I had to call several times to request an update because they never followed up with us. We wasted a whole day waiting around for them because of poor communication. At the time of the sale, we were told that the disassembly of our beds and desks was included in our quote along with professional packaging/furniture padding for our TVs, Monitors, wall art, furniture, and mattresses. First, the men showed up without an Allen wrench or basic tools and they asked us to go to the store to buy tools because all of ours were already packed away in the truck. So, we went to Menards and bought some basic tools, and borrowed a screw gun from a family member close by. We ended up disassembling our bed frames because there were not enough workers to complete the job in a timely matter (there were only 2 people for a 3 bed 3 bath 1900 sq ft townhome). Total pickup took 6.5 hours to complete with OUR help. During delivery, we were then told they wouldn’t help us re-assemble our beds because we had done it ourselves and it was a liability. We were pigeonholed in this situation and were forced to do the work ourselves once again late that night. In addition, they did not use professional boxing with foam inserts for our TVs and monitors like we were promised. They wrapped our monitors in paper, and one is now broken. They didn’t use any protective covers for our mattresses or rugs. They also didn’t use any type of wrapping on our furniture. Our new rugs, dining table, dining chairs, coffee table, end tables, entertainment set, lamps, mattress, and other furniture are damaged in some shape or form. We called John Allen from First National Van Lines who works in Dispatch and oversaw coordinating our move immediately to let him know that our belongings were not being properly packaged. He was very quick to dismiss our concerns and told us to “trust the process”. We were stuck. Had we canceled, we would have lost our hefty deposit and delayed our move… Like the pickup, there were not enough resources when they arrived for delivery. The movers didn’t put down any protective padding for flooring or walls during pickup and delivery. We now have dings on the walls of our new home. The worst thing about this whole experience is that we have a lot of damage to our future, lamps, electronics, etc.. Most of our furniture is scratched up badly as they didn’t use furniture padding or wrapping on our larger pieces. We are a younger couple who saved up our money to finally purchase nice furniture just a few months ago that we planned to keep for a long time. It saddens us to see that our brand-new dining table, dining chairs, TV stand, coffee table, side tables, rugs, lamps, and more are now damaged. We decided to spend more money on the moving service in hopes our belongings would be taken care of; with the expectation that accidents DO happen. But this was far from just an accident… This entire operation was poorly managed, and Jordan from Sales 100% lied to us about what was included in their service just to get the sale. Jordan told us that the company works in-house and does not outsource to other moving companies. Like the many other lies we were told, this was also a BIG lie. The moving company that First National Van Lines outsourced our job to was Wild Safari Moving. We didn’t find this out until they arrived for pickup. They were extremely unprofessional, to say the least… We were nothing but kind to them, we got them tools and we helped them where we could. We even bought them dinner at the time of pickup because we didn’t blame them for the mess. However, at the time of delivery, I sent images to Kenny (at Wild Safari Moving) to let him know of the damages and find out where I could submit our claim. Later that day, one of the movers told us that we were being nit-picky about our things being damaged… Finally, in the process of submitting our claim, I saw that we signed a section on the Bill of Lading that waives our rights to full coverage of our items. At the time, I asked what we were signing and was told it was an acknowledgment that they had moved all our belongings and nothing was missing. Stupidly, I believed him and signed without reading it more thoroughly. At this point, we would only be getting $.60 per pound of the damaged item. Meaning, that if a table costs you $1000 and weighs 100 lbs., we would only get $60.00 for the damaged item. The claim process is extremely long-drawn-out so we decided to cut our losses because the claim wasn’t worth our time and energy anymore. At this point, we just hope that we can warn others from working with this company.
Worst movers ever- first national van movers and partnered with Prudential movers
Pls do not look for first national van movers, first they quote you low price and then they will assign you different agent at the last moment. Then they will have lot of hidden information which they never disclose before pick up. I faced lot of issues for delivery, first of all they delivered late and they will ask you $2 for each step they go even though if you have space to park the vehicle in front of your house or apartments. The person who books will not reply to you and no body takes call from customer service. Really very bad experience with first national and they partnered with prudential. Both are scammers. I ended up paying additional $600 only to get delivered.
Positive memory
Absolutely thrilled with the service provided by First National Van Lines! From start to finish, the entire moving process was seamless and stress-free. The team was not only professional but also incredibly friendly, making the transition to our new home an enjoyable experience. Our belongings arrived in perfect condition, and the attention to detail was outstanding. Thank you, First National Van Lines, for exceeding our expectations and turning a potentially stressful event into a positive memory. Highly recommend their top-notch service!

I would not recommend these people to move dirt in my backyard
The crew Jordan sent to us were horrible. They sent the wrong size truck after several conversations that we needed 2 smaller trucks due to living in the mountains with small curvy roads. Some of the crew members were smoking marijuana in our bathrooms and had the exhaust fans on thinking it would mask the smell. Several of our items were broken without regard for our property. Door jams were damaged from banging furniture into them. Our wood front porch steps were damaged from the hand trucks. Upon arriving at our new house, our $6000 sleep number bed was broken after they assured us they were “trained” in the disassembly and reassembly process. Several of our door jams at the new house were damaged by large furniture. No protective measures were in place. They broke a large mirror and left the glass in the driveway. Hey had no care whatsoever as to stacking heavy boxes on top of smaller boxes clearly marked “fragile”. I had to use a large black trash bag to pick up all the glass and packing debris they left in the street and yard.
Contracted out to terrible company
To begin, I don’t necessarily have a problem with First National Van Lines except that they need to be more careful about who they contract your move to. I was contracted to BLVD moving. Luckily the contract I had with First National guaranteed that the price would not change if we did not change our items so that saved us when BLVD tried to charge us more. But BLVD was over a month late with our move and we were missing tons of stuff including our TV and dining table. I have called customer service for both First National and BLVD. Multiple customer service reps from First National mentioned that they hate working with BLVD. Overall I wouldn’t recommend only because they might contract you out to a terrible company.
