Worst experience with Cardinal Van lines
We moved from Washington state and got a quote over the phone and payed a 5700.00 deposit. Guys showed as independent workers and price they gave me was so so much more and we ended up paying over 27k about double what was quoted. I had everything packed except the large furniture. When we finally got our items delivered it was an entire different group of guys again and almost all of our furniture were damaged and I have a bunch of items missing. When I had called the company never returned my call and the guys who packaged my belongings ignored me also. I would never recommend this company or ever use them again
Disrespectful
I had the awful fortune of being quoted by David, and when I was disconnected due to my phone dying, he left a really rude and disrespectful text message that was very inappropriate... I didn't even get a chance to return the call. If that is how Cardinal treats potential customers who were nothing less than courteous despite my phone dying in the middle of our contact, I will never book with them.

My suitcase was given to two very unprofessional and unpleasant men.
I hired MovingAPT based on the reviews, however I had a very difficult experience with the movers. They sent over my belongings of Cardinal Van Lines, who are both highly professional and very terrible individuals. On Day 1, they raised my amount from $2800 to $5600 and harassed me until I paid it. When I inquired as to why there is such a significant increase over the actual amount. They claimed that cubic feet were increased and that Cardinal Van Lines were merely brokers who had turned over the goods to us and we're no longer liable. I stated that I will not pay because there has been no increase in the luggage. They left with all of my belongings but no bill, and when I phoned them the next day, they called me Psycho, angry. I was truly taken aback when I heard those remarks from him. Cardinal Van Lines eventually decreased the bill, but the owner and driver's behavior remained unchanged. They have yet to deliver my stuff and have missed two deadlines. Those men are still not responding adequately to me. When I questioned Cardinal Van Lines about handing over my belongings to these expert guys, I had no response and was told that your luggage would be sent quickly, which has yet to occur.
Over the course of the contract, the cost more than doubled.
Cardinal Van Lines agreed to charge me $11,600 for a home move. Cardinal Van Lines, the company they hired to make the move, refused to undertake it unless I paid an additional $15,000 in fees. Cardinal Van Lines refused to refund their deposit of $4088 and refused to intervene with Victory. Cardinal Van Lines SHOULD NOT BE USED.
My dreadful experience
Lies. This firm is located on both sides of the street. It cost us more than twice as much as we had been charged. The truck drivers were lovely individuals. We gave them a generous tip. They were the ONLY good thing about this horrible experience. Cardinal arrived 4 DAYS LATE to load us. Because we were so late vacating due to Cardinal van Lines, the owner of the residence where we stayed contacted the local police on us. They held my furniture on a truck driving all over the south for 7 days after we were assured it would just take 3 days. For all those days, I went to an empty house with no furniture. We chose to stay in a hotel, which WAS EXPENSIVE. NEVER EVER WE WILL SUE THEM IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT FOR EXTREME COSTS. MORE THAN $500 MORE THAN QUOTED We boosted the cost by $500 by adding a few boxes and one bed.
Salespeople that are pushy!
I called to obtain a quotation, and they were trying to get me to put down a non-refundable initial payment. I stated that I wanted to hear back on other offers first, and they hung up on me! We will not do business with them since they are unprofessional and aggressive.
