Quote was bad enough
Spoke to a representative on the phone. He gives me an overpriced quote then tries to “sell” me on getting a $400 discount. I call him out on the slime ball car salesman tactics he’s attempting to use. Then he tells me I am being “combative”. Outside of the alarming racist comment, it’s extremely unprofessional and shows the type of organization this is.
Stay away!!!! Fraudulent services.
I strongly urge anyone trying to use beacon moving and storage company to stay away. From Day one all they cared about was the deposit to book our moving. At the time of pick up my items were mishandled. I’ve been at my new location for 56 days and I still do not have my things. I tried to speak with the driver that is bringing my things directly and got cursed out. I reached out to beacon customer service and got lied to multiple times. They have breached contract and don’t want to take any accountability for it. I had to buy new beds and clothes for my family as well as get a storage unit for all the extra items I had to purchase. Beacon moving company pretty much told us tough luck.
Stay Away!
Take my advice and avoid using this firm if you want your stuff back. I am missing three huge containers as well as a huge amplifier. After they got my entire payment, which was $509 more than promised, customer service was unable to assist me in finding my things. Some of which were very important. My stuff was relocated three times and it was over a month late. This was a terrible experience!
Terrible company!!
The manager is incredibly rude, and the personnel are in a hurry to persuade you to pay a deposit. I contacted to ask about cost and to learn about the moving process. I spoke with Oneida, and she forwarded me to her boss during the call (maybe because she didn't know how to address some of my questions?) He never let me complete what I was saying! At least three occasions, I'd been cut off, and he consistently talks over me. Why would anyone want to do business with these people?

Beacon Moving and Storage- BEWARE
They are very bad brokers! They charged me $ 5000 more than the quoted price and even so they were 3 days late to pick up my things. Customer service was a joke.
DO NOT USE!!
The movers they hired for our move were inexperienced and very unprofessional moving our things. They mistreated the boxes and had no respect for our belongings.
THE BIGGEST LIARS ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH!
They are just brokers and once they have your money they leave you in the hands of another company and disappear. I had problems with extra charges, damaged items, and other things, and Beacon Moving and Storage never helped me with anything. Don't waste your time and stay away from this company.
Be aware
They subcontracted some inexperienced movers for my move and charged me a lot of extra money. Be careful because this company will transfer your move to other people and then they will wash their hands.
Terrible company!
This company does not deliver any of its promises. They are unethical, overcharge you, their customer service is rude, and they use your stuff as hostages to get more money. They are nothing but criminals!

BAD Moving Review
They were late on the day of the pick-up and wanted to charge me thousands of additional dollars in cash. The customer service guys never answered my calls. Don't waste your time with these scammers.
