THIEVES
This is the worst moving company I've ever used. They are only brokers, not genuine movers. On the initial sales call, this company promises anything, but once your deposit is received, good luck. I needed to relocate by October 30th, so I had a three-day window and was informed I would be called the day before to let me know they were coming. On November 29th, I received a phone call informing me that they were unable to contact the carrier but that I might hear something by the end of the day? Because my relocation had to take place I had to cancel and locate another mover. They also advised me that I would lose my money or that it may be held for a year in case I needed to hire them again. Why would I ever want to work with these scumbags again? They simply want to keep my $1599 deposit after doing nothing! REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!
NEVER BOOK WITH THEM.
They select untrustworthy carriers. Two enormous cartons were overlooked upon delivery. The truck drivers will not even unload products from the truck during delivery until the remaining balance is settled, and once the amount is settled, they begin unloading to home, which is when we discovered that two large boxes are missing. They pretended to be unaware of the situation and asked me to verify with the corporation. They aren't even prepared to offer me a written statement that they failed to deliver, and I forced them to do so. It's been two weeks since the delivery, and I'm still not sure what they'll do about the missing products, or how much they'll reimburse if they do. They asked for a claim and stated that the procedure could take up to 120 days. Also, it was stated that products will be delivered within 7-21 business days, and at the time of booking, they stated that it had never taken longer than 7 days. If you hear the same thing, don't believe it. They took more than 21 business days to deliver (23 days) for me, and when I checked, they told me it was a busy season, so expect a delay. I don't understand, because it has never exceeded 7 days for the same period they specified orally.
Definitely a Scam.
I signed a contract with this company and a customer service representative named Steve. They demanded extra money because they claimed we were honest and you could check our reviews. LIERS!! They did not arrive on time, and then they excused themselves for a different time schedule; they did not arrive at all!! They keep saying that they would find work, but there are none in the neighborhood. They eventually refused to refund my deposit, and I had to battle for it.
Horrible business.
There is no sense of customer satisfaction. They made a lot of promises before receiving any money. My products were precise as described, however, the driver raised the fee and the firm refused to deal with it. I asked to speak with dispatch a couple of times but had no luck. They had misplaced my belongings. I even have a box from smb somewhere else. My advice to this company: don't make promises you can't keep! Consider the customer more.

DO NOT WORK WITH AMERICAN MOVING! HORRIBLE
If I could, I'd give them 0 stars. I paid extra to have my television removed from its wall mount. They threw it away! They completely wrecked it. They provided me with a replacement value of $35. What a prank!! They shattered a section of the marble steps in my building's entryway. They attempted to cover it at first, but my super caught them. It will cost more than $3000 to repair. They delivered a letter of intent. I had no notion you needed additional insurance to cover the harm they created. Why would I do that? They are covered by insurance! They gave me $125!!! Crazy! Please do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with this firm. Maybe if they go out of business, they'll be held accountable for the damage they do! Keep your $160 for more than $4500 in damage. It will cost me twice as much to repair their harm as it did to relocate me.
Lawbreakers!
Their workers will accept your money for a deposit, then tell you "you never made a deposit," even if you have a COPY OF THE CHECK. They're RUDE and useless, and I've already wasted hundreds of dollars because a manager "won't allow me to talk to accounting" to guarantee the check went to them. Also, there is a minimum transfer fee that they would not disclose to you. WHAT A FRAUD! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
Improper!!
I signed an agreement with this moving business and paid a deposit. They phoned me on the day of the relocation to tell me they couldn't do it. After then, I couldn't get in touch with anyone at the firm. I still can't do it. They have my deposit but have not responded in any manner. This firm should not be used. They are neither trustworthy nor ethical. I was quite disappointed. Very, Very Bad

My move experience
EVER! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! When they were selling me the relocation, they were really friendly. They signed a contract with me, and I gave them a deposit. Then, on the day of the move, they show up and raise the price by $3000!! Then they told me I'd have my furniture in 3-10 days. I haven't heard from them in two weeks. When I contacted them on the tenth day, they couldn't even offer me an estimated delivery date.
Unpleasant service and they stolen items
This firm overcharged me on truck square footage. Many of my belongings were missing or damaged when they arrived. I filed a claim ONE YEAR AGO and got nothing! It's as if I haven't heard from anyone! When you can, the automated recorder will continue to repeat the same thing regardless of what you press. They charged me hundreds of dollars and essentially stole and destroyed priceless items.
FOREWARM
This business misplaced several of our belongings and left boxes of other people's belongings. It's been almost 5 months, and they're still not returning my calls and haven't compensated me for the missing or damaged stuff. The antiques cost more than $700 to fix, and the things lost are priceless family heirlooms. They were over a month late in delivering. I advise DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY OR USE THEM TO MOVE ANYTHING, INCLUDING YOUR GARBAGE. They are untrustworthy and, in the end, liars. I STILL HAVE THE ITEMS THAT DON'T BELONG TO US. WITH MATCHING DETAILS OR PICTURES IF YOU EXPECTED A DELIVERY BETWEEN Washington, Oregon, Then California. THE EXACT SAME AS IF THE ITEMS WERE DELIVERED TO YOU AT THAT TIME.
