All of our furnishings were damaged.
Almost all of our furnishings was ruined. We relocated from Manhattan to Brooklyn and rented a storage unit for a week. The only insurance they provided was at a cost of 60 cents per pound. There is a large dent in our wood console, a damaged door in that console, a hole in our Aeron chair, and at least half of the feet on every item with leveling feet have come off. The movers made no attempts to assist. In fact, we believe they were aware of the damage but chose not to inform us - definitely, something was spilled on the console - because they fled fast after we tipped them and we did not understand the extent of the damage until we peeled all of the blue plastic wraps. In addition, we were overcharged for various goods at the last minute.

Terrible moving company I've ever used
NEVER EVER When it was only two blocks away, the transfer took four days. For four days, we had no towels, clothing, or bedding. Items were misplaced, damaged, and the customer service was the worst I've ever experienced! Please do yourself a favor and go with a different company.

Look for a Skilled Mover!
I had a bad experience with Unlimited Moving and was astounded by the company's deception and lack of honesty. We contacted Unlimited Moving around 30 days before our relocation and were in touch with them until the day of the move. We wanted to make sure we covered everything because it was a hectic moving season. We inquired about rescheduling the relocation by one day roughly ten days before the move. Because that day was less busy, our total would be less than the agreed-upon fee, according to our organizer. To our surprise, the movers arrived on the day of the relocation with a charge of $1,100 MORE than the agreed fee. We were confident that there had been some sort of misunderstanding, and that we would be easily paid for the difference. The Unlimited Moving management team, like our coordinator, was a total nightmare that refused to accept any fault. This firm has no credibility, and they will promise you the moon and the stars just to pull the rug out from under you when it's too late to find a better mover. Unlimited Moving should be avoided at all costs.

This firm is deserving of its negative scores.
This is the wretchedest firm with the wretchedest customer service. I utilized them for a four-year-long relocation and recently unpacked for my final move. I misplaced almost 70 high-value goods. I had over $35,000 in jewels stolen by their movers, and I requested that a claim be lodged by the headquarters, but they completely disregarded me. This low-life nasty corporation has plundered and unfairly ruined me. I despise the same words and sentiments that they used to describe how they handled this and treated me. The owners are cowards who did not do the right thing. All I required of them, as evidenced by several police records, was to file an insurance claim. They completely disregarded me. This firm has earned the right to fail. I feel so insulted by the fact that no one has ever done the right thing. It's a full and total disrespect and loss of my family's legacy on some of the treasured antiques that were taken from us by a slew of your company's workers.

Poor service
Unlimited Moving cause damage to the premises where my furniture was stored and now refuses to pay for repairs or respond to my calls. I would never again do business with this firm. I've hired a lot of movers over the years and have never been handled so poorly.

The most careless movers I've ever met.
Don't even consider working with these folks. I paid extra for "professional packing services," and they were simply careless, leaving items of china and glassware unprotected. They took all of my silk ties from the closet, wrapped them up, and placed them at the bottom of a box with a printer on top! The same is true for women's dresses. Many of my belongings were broken or damaged, and when I complained, the management told me that they would take care of everything. They handed me $80 as a "goodwill gesture" after more than a month of waiting for "higher management" to authorize my compensation. Keep your distance from them.
Interstate move
Beware! We just employed Unlimited Moving for an interstate relocation, and our stuff was severely damaged! The movers had a callous disdain for professionalism! There is an incredible amount of damage to our property, including antiques and family artifacts, and several boxes have gone missing! There was little concern for personal property, for example, packing tape over paintings, they forgot the $120 of bubble wrap we paid for, and the Foreman was nasty, talking on the phone while the packing and moving, making us feel intimidated! Employees smoked in our restroom and drove an Unlimited Moving vehicle that had a leaky problem! We are now in the thick of a claim, and I would urge everyone to avoid Unlimited Moving since the staff is paid by the task rather than hourly, and so arrive in a rushed rush to get it done as fast as possible so that they can go on to the next project! They prioritize volume above customer service! It's simply not worth it. Examine the accompanying photographs and pick more professional clothing to avoid this happening to you.
Items Lost or Damaged During my move.
I've previously hired Unlimited Moving to relocate a one-bedroom flat across the nation. The first time was nice, but this time was not. My full-sized mattress was not delivered. Instead, they brought me someone else's king-sized mattress. While route, I opened and used my audio equipment. I know this since the amplifier was packaged in the original manufacturer's box. When it was sent to me, it was in a generic box with no foam cushioning and had minor damage. The speakers came broken and needed to be repaired. The dresser and media center furniture came broken - the doors wouldn't shut and needed to be replaced. In general, the furniture and audio equipment came with aesthetic damage in addition to the normal wear and tear of relocation. The estimated cost of lost/damaged products is $3,550. I was amazed at how bad the service was. I've attempted to contact them several times in the last several months - I first spoke with staff two or three times who claimed they'd follow up, but I haven't heard back (or been replied to) despite phoning and leaving messages on a regular basis for the previous two months.
Poor service
There was so much confusion among their own personnel that they charged my card the wrong amount, three crates were missing from their end, and they only reimbursed me $150. The boxes are significantly more valuable. It is quite inconvenient. They stole some of my furniture, some of expensive jewerly and some of my personal items

Dreadful Service
I've never had a worse moving experience. The movers hurried through the delivery since they "don't get paid by the hour." This has been brought up several times to me. Second, because my platform bed would not fit in the elevator, they advised me to rid of it (and I would have to dispose of it). It just had to ascend one flight of steps! I requested them to at least attempt, and they got it up halfway through the trip before giving up. It's up to my Father and me to take it apart. Even though it was in the contract, they refused to put it back together.
