Look Into the licensing of this company
I read every review here and can add my own as precisely what others suffered because of this company. They put sweet ladies on the phone who so understand your stress. At the time my sister had just died and they played into that. Talk only. Overcharged me. Delivery on both sides spoke little English. Missing items. Pressed for more cash upon delivery. Dirty delivery truck with a driver and no helpers. As of this writing no compensation and I was called the liar. Why is this allowed to continue. Is there a lawyer out there to help us. I was going to senior living already stressed and arrived without precious possessions and a mattress to sleep on. These people do not deserve to continue to be in business. Please post this for the good of all.
Stay Away From This Mover
Just read what is on this site. Add to this The Better Business Bureau. Stay away from using this company. They "farm" out your cherished possessions to anyone with a truck and get people off the street to move your items. They charge a higher amount over the estimate and the driver will shake you down for more money to get contents off the truck. Then your boxes are mishandled, turned upside down and you open glass filled boxes as I did. This senior citizen did not have her mattress delivered and had to sleep on the floor. I was called a liar by their people from office on down lie when I went for compensation. My driver arrived without NO helpers and then wanted more money. They want cash on delivery and with one worker I was hesitant to do so but my items would not be taken off the truck if I did not comply. I even boarded the truck at 78 to try to break free my items. I still am not compensated in any way and their customer service is abusive and condescending. If nothing else I gain may I keep an unsuspecting mover AWAY from this horrible company. Complaints galore. Is there no one to look into this organization and how people suffer because of their lack of care about anything regarding your move. As my fellow reviewers will attest, a rude organization lacking integrity. They even played the "Christian" card with their prayers and blessings. They are out and for your money only. My "long hallway" charge is just one example. Someone look into the practices of this organization.
Bait and switch crooks.
My brother moved his storage items from Colorado to Florida. He contacted Packmen moving in storage because they have five star reviews don’t be misled because they are not the actual movers. They are an online business that sets up moving companies to move you. after getting a quote from pictures of the items as well as the measurement of the storage unit he was quoted $6500. He decided that he wasn’t going to move right away so is $2500 moving payment would be good for two years in case he decided to move, but they weren’t going to return his deposit. so one year later he enacted the move at that price. When the movers went to the storage unit they said it’s going to be $9000. He decided not to go with them. He would forfeit his $2500. They really put him in a bind . So he went ahead with the move and gave them the address of the storage area in Florida that they would be delivering it to. When they showed up at the storage unit, the driver of the truck said he’s not able to pull the size of his truck into that storage area and that he would have to rent a liftgate truck to unload his truck that was too big to get in there and that would cost my brother an extra $1600. I talked to my brother and said there’s no way I would do it. Well, my brother is not confrontational and he lives on a extremely limited budget as he is retired . It was so frustrating because it was raining and there’s nothing to do but actually pay them the money if you want your stuff delivered. I told him to tell them that he just doesn’t have the money to pay because he’s on the limited income, which is true they Cut that price in half to $825. So he paid that extra plus the $9000. So this is my answer to Packmen and Unlimited moving and storage. You made me smarter and how I deal with movers and I’ll make sure that I’ll be dealing with anyone moving my personal items or any work that they are bona fide and they are who they say they are.
Nightmare Movers
So far it's been awful.I accidentally deleted contact info from my text. I texted my contact person for customer service and told her I couldn't figure out how to undelete. I could have given her a different number, I assumed she would relay a message. I thought I had it corrected. I texted the dispatch person several times and they finally texted customer service back and she said contact dispatch. I told her I was getting no response from her. She texted back and said dispatch never got my message so it would be tomorrow between noon and 4 and gave me a different dispatch number if I had problems. At 4 I texted dispatch and they said they would probably be there by 10 if it's still OK. I had to contact my apartment complex and I got charged for yet another day of rent and I needed all my keys in the Dropbox by midnight and gave me the drivers phone number. He was very nice and called again about 10 and asked if he could keep coming. I didn't have much choice, then I found out they were coming from Denver to Omaha and had 2 other stops and they left at 6 am. When movers got there I said if I am going over my cubic feet to forget these boxes. When they had everything loaded they said I was 100 cubic feet over and my final payment would be $961 more than my quote. They were supposed to go to a second location also and she also was waiting up and had to be up at 6am. She was yelling at me. I was so upset I couldn't sleep and next day I felt like I was going to have a heart attack or stroke! I can't remember what driver was telling me because I was so upset! Don't use them. The first person I talked to was super nice and assured me that they were reputable. Bad mistake trusting them!
Nightmare experience, wish we had the option of zero stars
Rude, unprofessional, lacks integrity. You will not receive your items on time. Once you sign a contract, good luck speaking with anyone. They do not value your time or realize working professionals have obligations. Victor, out of Colorado does not understand customer service and the manager of delivery will hang up on you when she doesn't have an exact answer. We should have done more research so that's something we will have to live with, and we are probably going to have to pay more fees because of a days notice on delivery after waiting 3 weeks. Please just stay away from this company, now we have to research attorneys that can assist us in avoiding unnecessary charges.
SCUM BAGS!
Terrible experience. Avoid all day long, every day. The most terrible customer service that I know, and the worst service have experienced. NEVER EVER contract their services. Stay away from them! SCAM SCAM SCAM. One of my major mistakes in my life. They ruined my life.
BELIEVE THE TERRIBLE REVIEWS
SCAM/FRAUD/DECEITFUL ACT - BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!!!! They promised me they will be the only one carrier and company who would move my furniture. LIES. Another company PRONTO came and told me everything is good, pay and then we will start the loading. As soon as I paid, the mover started adding a bunch of additional hidden fees, quoting the contract. I am an attorney, I am very much aware of what a deceitful practice/fraud/scam is. I called unlimited, the only nice person who works there Heather talked to me. While I was on the phone (maybe one minute) the mover LEFT my house so I feel even more pressured to give him money. He told me "You won't get your money back". I paid $765 deposit and first payment of $852.50 and absolutely NO SERVICES WERE PROVIDED. He didn't even touch my furniture just guaranteed me that everything was alright I "just needed to pay". The man even told me we dont tell additional fees prior the payment because people cancel. NO SHIT! so basically I paid more than $1,600 and I was left alone trying to ship my boxes, paid a thousand dollar again to move and had to leave my furniture behind. Moving is so stressful and those people dont help. As soon as you give them the deposit they disappear, ignore your texts and phone calls. Once I saw the terrible reviews here I harassed them because I panicked that it would happen to me. I reviewed my inventory at least 5 times to make sure everything looked good. But even though they will tell you everything is good, as soon as you made the Zell, you can be sure they will add additional hidden fees quoting the "contract". Also, prior the moving date same ignoring you, nobody contacts you. This is definitely a deceitful practice, I alerted the authorities and filed a complaint with the department of transportation. According to the reviews, getting back your furniture is a hassle. I did not give them the additional hundreds of dollars they demanded because I knew that once they will get to my new home, they will ask for more. Disappointed. Nobody contacts you, nobody refunds your money. I do hope that they will answer to court for scamming people who just want to get their furniture safely in their new home. I am shocked of how unprofessional the mover was, leaving my house in a rude manner solely because I was on the phone with someone nice from unlimited moving company to understand what happened. If you don't want to be stressed and waste your money, PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!
Crooks! Moving Broker, Overcharged for space, Poor communication
THIS IS A FRAUDULANT MOVING BROKER THAT WILL OVERCHARGE YOU AND LEAVE YOU WITH EXCESSIVE DAMAGES . I cannot warn you enough. I moved from Wisconsin to Florida. They are a broker, even though they will tell you they are not (Henry the sales person will tell you anything to get the sale). My belongings arrived on a 3rd party truck and 90% damaged. The items that were not damaged in the move were damaged upon assembly. My executive desk that was like new, arrived with all corners bashed in and the back broken in half. Thy will give you the $.60 per pound unless you buy extra insurance. The desk was over $3k and they offered $255. My dining table top was ruined on assembly, The $1200 mattress was sliced with a knife by the movers when unpacking and they offered me $22 for it. My brand new television cost me $25 to pack to avoid damage. When it arrived broken they offered me $20 for it. SO I paid them $5 to deliver a broken $1200 television that I had to pay to get rid of. Office chairs snapped in half, new bunk beds destroyed. They charged me for extra space to move my motorcycle to ensure nothing was stacked above it. The bike came with boxes and garden tools stacked on it. They overcharged me for the space by about 25% and refuse to refund anything. They demand full payment before they will open the truck at the delivery point. The move was initially to cost $6900 and ended up costing over $13k. If you choose to use these crooks, you will be in for disappointment. They are quick to get the business and then won't respond WHEN you have a complaint (Shai Cohen, won't respond and Ezra Silver is a total liar). Hindsight, I would have given all of my stuff away and bought new for the same money. I am moving forward with a lawsuit against this company to get reimbursed for the overcharge of space (attached photo shows 1?3 empty truck upon arrival, I was charged for a full truck), fraudulent representation, and gross neglect.

They give us a estimated to move from Indiana to Florida, and charge us with 1/3 of the price, When Truck coming was other compay and they charge us with full price and some fees for down steps of the building. Nos hicieron un estimado para una mudanza desde Indiana hasta Florida, nos cobraron 1/3 del precio y al llegar el camion, nos cobraron el precio completo ademas de fees por escalón.

It was a great mistake hire them
MAJOR MISTAKE. I had previously used Unlimited Moving and assumed they would work well for my recent relocation. The latest relocation went off without a hitch. However, I paid an additional fee to have Unlimited Moving disassemble and rebuild a wall unit. Their "carpenter" misplaced parts, destroyed essential wall unit components, failed to correctly repair the wall unit, and was quite disrespectful. In addition, the Company charged my credit card with further unlawful transactions. Unlimited Moving SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS. Dealing with them during this transition was a huge mistake.

Companies that transport household goods like Unlimited Moving & Storage LLC have to register annually with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Bureau of Compliance is the responsible regulatory authority that manages intrastate movers. Movers should be registered with the FMCSA to operate interstate.
