It was a dreadful moving

It's been a month and I still don't have a refrigerator, washer, or dryer. I purchased for the greatest insurance coverage available, full replacement value with no deductible. These were not the only damages, and the claims representative has given me the runaround on getting these things repaired/replaced. They've managed to make these things my responsibility, which I'm not sure how they can believe given that I paid them for a service. Three ancient family antiques were destroyed, and other boxes of glass artifacts were crushed. As I unpack, I discover additional damages. So disheartened, and little empathy or attempt on their side to make things right as soon as possible.

Lost watches

I don't know how this company's got 5 star reviews. We moved from Newport Beach to Miami in November, talking to Friend, who was friendly and giving us a quote. That's when the beauty is over. The company's operation was not welcoming from the start to the end. The company's operation was not pleasant from the beginning to the end. After our products were received in Miami, we found that a package containing $11,000 worth of watches was missing. 15 times, I sent them an email and left a few messages. Finally, two months later, a guy called me and said, essentially, there's nothing they could do, and why did we get them to move something so valuable. I agree with that.Basically, a long story short, there's nothing they can do, and it's our fault, and he kept interrupting me as he tried to fix the problem to tell me why I was wrong. It should also be remembered that this mover is a broker and they paint themselves as a true mover. I want to let you know about the tidbit. Before using them, please do your research on this company.

Scammers

Don't believe this company has all the fake cut and paste 5 star ratings. I'm going to keep this rant short, they were lying about subcontracting the work. Out of the five people I was in touch with on the move, I couldn't tell you who worked for what company. One good thing is that they did arrive on time, but the people who brought our things weren't from Transworld at all. Everything that came out of the truck, however, was damage; literally anything. If I had to repair anything that was broken, it would have surpassed 10k. The kicker when you start the claims process is a joke, you're overlooked forms get lost, and there's just no contact from the organization unless you keep track of them all the time.I sent a report to the BBB, the lady who was supposed to be in charge of this lost a form, never followed up, and I don't know what the status was six months later.

Amazing move

It was a long-drawn-out process, but well worth the work that we put into it. Our greatest fear, just like any other person traveling for the first time, was more overloaded than the initial estimate. We spent a couple of days going back and forth making sure we had every item on our list and every item that required special packing accounted for without having missed a single beat. They were really easy to work with, and within a week we were able to book the transfer and lock in our dates as well as the prices. As promised, the delivery did actually showed up two days sooner than scheduled, which was a nice surprise. With all these other different moving companies out there, it's hard to say what's right for you, but for us, Transworld Van Lines, with exactly what we needed and came through as promised.

Thank you, everyone at Transworld Van Lines, for the amount of time you spent in our relocation was Exceptional. We booked our transfer about a month in advance, which ended up saving us $400 on our own. Our salesmen, as well as all the others involved, help us find ways to cut costs and protect ourselves throughout the process. We have opted to take extra insurance in case that something goes wrong because you never know these days. They arrived on time and immediately got to work, disassembling furniture and packing boxes. They did a full service move where we didn't have to do a single thing, except for the leptin movers. They were by far the best moving company we've ever dealt with, in the future they're going to be the only car we're going to make for the next one we need.

My experience

But all was good with the original quote, and then the movers turned up about an hour late. Zita jumped $1800 dollars. Guys were fast to pack but packed half-assed things. Had I not been there a few paintings that my children had done, they would have been destroyed. They took the clothes out of the dresser drawers to use more boxes and to take up more space. I was lacking the hardware of my bed, and then I was searching for the legs of a dresser in a totally different one. Some products are damaged beyond repair and some if they are not replaceable. I watched boxes of heavy stuff being placed on top of items that were light or on things that were in plastic bins. The truck also left major oil stains in my rental driveway. Not sure if it's already taken out of my deposit or not. I've had six military transfers, and my things was handled a lot better than this. The only reason this is a 3 and not a lower one is because of the delivery driver Zion. He moved it all by himself, and he worked his tail off.

Grateful

It was a privilege to work with Transworld Van Lines and I just wanted to say thank you. Not really keen on writing reviews or blogs or something on the Internet, you just just wanted to say that your company's moving around is awesome. All the other moving companies seemed really scripted, and we didn't have any connection with them, but we felt relaxed with you guys, and we made sure we had a professional company.  Most of all, when it is time to pay the final bill, it was the same approximate price that we had signed for this review, it wouldn't be here.
