Scammer company
They gave me a quotation for $1580 for all the items I have, and I specifically asked them to overestimate the sizes of my items to get the highest quote possible. The day of the move is coming and the guys are starting to load my stuff into the truck. Once they've loaded a few items, the guy tells me that the quote is actually going to be $2500 instead of the original because it looks like I've got 350 cubic feet of items instead of the original 290. He also told me to pay him the full amount right then and there, even though I had already deposited nearly $500. I told him no, so he asked for 75 percent instead, even though the original deal was 50 percent pick-up and 50 percent drop-off. I'm never going to use these guys again, and I'm going to file complaints.
Interstate move
As others have said, they're giving you a low bid. Once the quotation doubles. This is an amateur company on the move. My quotation went from 1400 to 2800. Run away from Bryan and the rest of the people. The truck that arrived was barely driving, and there was only one person to unload the truck. If we weren't helping, the guy would have taken longer. This isn't a moving company. Dishonest amateur movers, man. Evitate them at all costs. B.
Excellent move
Look no further if you're looking for a mover in Texas. These guys were super cool, hard-working, and they handled everything with such care, these guys really did take care of my stuff for me, and I've got a lot of really bulky, hard to manage the furniture. Getting the pool table out of the basement was a difficult thing to do on its own. True professionals, they worked fast and didn't scratch anything, thank you to the Texas Movers Group.
Dishonest Company
They gave me a low and reasonable bid on the basis of an accurate inventory list. Not only was the list accurate, but I sold a few larger items before they even got there. My quotation DOUBLED, and they absolutely refused to honor my previous quotation. Of course, Tommy, the super friendly scam artist who sold me the plan, was nowhere to be found after the bait and the switch went down. It's gone from a $1,900 quote to paying $3,200. Absolute scam, man. Evitate at all costs.
