Efficient company
This is the second time we used the STI and it was just as awesome as it was the first time! They're so fast, they're great communicators, they're really nice! We're going to use them for every move, because we have such trust in them. Thanks to Luis and the crew!

Effective and Respectful
The crew showed up in time and got right to work. No lazy guys on this crew... had two trucks loaded and taken off to the new house. Arrival and unloading very quickly. Very efficient crew members. Renae and his crew were great. Only regret that we didn't give them more specific instructions on how we wanted the boxes to be placed in the basement. But that's our fault, not theirs. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the STI as a great choice. Cost = less than the estimate!!

Amazing Team
The crew was really nice, got right to work and moved us quickly, without damaging our belongings or our homes. I was surprised to see how they could disassemble a treadmill quickly to get it down a tight basement stairway. Hard work movers and great customer service, the estimated size of the truck and the length of time it took to work was right on the money.
You get what you paid for
You will get what you pay for We hired them out of LA to move us on 05/03/2014. We had a large move going to Florida. By when they were finished loading us, the scratched my refrigerator on the sides and the front door. They didn't have an idea on how to move peoples belongings. We were told by Jane that the truck was at their warehouse and they would probably be the ones loading our belongings into the 18 wheeler when they got back to the warehouse. They give you a 10 day window but keep in mind, it's "business days''.. They told us on 05/22/2014 that our stuff had left, after it sat in TX for more than a week after the pick up, it hadn't. Dishonesty should not an option for a company. No call, no communication..nothing unless of course I was calling for info. Our belongings arrived and this so called professional moving company had left many items back in LA that they knew were coming. He'd refund us $125.00, which is their $25.00 a day past their window. Do not use these movers, especially if you're moving long distance. You will be sleeping on the floor for a long time. They are dishonest, get you to sign a contract and then add things to it.
Good Price, Spotty Courtesy
Good Price, Spotty Courtesy I used an Auto Transport company (by recommendation from Tom at this company) for my car. I gave Chris and the contracted company a super review. They earned it. I'm saying this because people perceive only the bad reviews make it online. To gain my business they threw in boxes (no mention of the size beforehand), and some other stuff. Great on Tom’s part. He explained the benefits of having the same company book and do the move. Perhaps this holds true. But once I booked and paid the deposit, the courtesy stopped. Tom just sells, someone else holds the operation and those persons are very bad, not courteous. I guess they would be since they discount so much to make the sale. So any add-ons is the business model. They wanted to charge me $50 to shrink wrap 2 boxes that I was concerned for after it had been picked up. I didn't pay that. They didn't care if it gets damaged and told me they would actually charge me a fee if it fell apart in transit since they didn't pack it or provide the crate. They didn't notice I didn't include noted items during pick-up, but decided to ad-hoc their calculations on my extras. My limit was not stated clearly, so on the day of move, the things you naturally leave out become the BIGGEST DEAL in the world. Even if they amount in actuality to 11cuft. Their "estimation software" was clearly built to OVER Estimate loads. They did discount my extras in the end. But made a big deal about being fair to sizes even though some of them were stated on the boxes and I had a measure tape, FUNNY! Essentially made it look like a discount, better calculation and comms would have been easier. The day of the drop-off.... Ok, so I didn't realize I needed to pay up front. They also over estimated the extra fee of truck-to-door, so all in all I was shocked at the added money. But when I expressed this, the delivery manager snatched the contract, refused to show it to and said "You'll see your stuff in 1 month, I'm taking it back to the pickup". I threatened to call the cops. He didn't care. He instructed his nice staff to move the few items back to the truck. Worse experience with a business ever. So I was forced to pay, without seeing the fine print although he did agree to reduce the extra. But seriously unpleasant. Then the move-in went better, because the staff were nice kids.

Moving home stuff
I had a good experience with this company, all my bedroom living room and kitchen items packed and moved hassle-free. I thank them for the service.
Want My Refund!
When it comes to collecting their money STI and Steve make sure they are paid in full. However, when it comes to a refund Steve does not know the meaning of good business practice. The move went well and the movers delivered the furniture in a professional manner it was late in arriving. According to the "contract" for each day it is late I was to receive a $25.00 refund. According the Steve either owner or manager the check was in the mail weeks ago. After repeated emails and phone calls no refund has arrived. It may sound petty but a contract is a contract. I just want my money!
