Move from TX to OR
Hello Everybody, Lisa, my moving organizer, called me a few days after my transfer was completed and asked for my input. My feedback was good, and she asked if I could post about my experience here. In general, it was satisfactory. I recently moved from Houston, TX to Portland, OR, and all went smoothly. The movers at the pickup address were fast and loaded my house on the truck in about 7 hours; I received my items in Portland 8 days later. Thank you Small World Moving!
Paid for premium and what a joke!!
You know, I'm so frustrated with this business that I can't even put it into words. The worst movers I've ever played with. I paid an additional $2000 for premium packing, and they broke thousands of dollars in antiques and furniture, for which I discovered they are not responsible but for. 60 cents per pound I didn't wrap any huge objects that were broken. They do not cover broken or missing things except for pennies on the dollar, I found. We discovered that they overcharged us as well. Save your money and move yourself; it is not worth your time or money to use this moving business. Mover will also not contact you again. Oh, and avoid their broker, United Continental Moving and Storage, because they would lie to you. It's useless.
Wonderful movers
On October 3rd, 2019, Small World relocated me from Atlanta, GA to Frisco, TX. We relocated from a four-bedroom house to a spacious apartment in downtown Dallas. It was a direct door-to-door service; they loaded a full truck and drove straight to the delivery location; everything went quickly and smoothly. I believe the price they charged me was more than fair, and the service was excellent; no complaints here, only kudos. Offer Small World Moving a call if you want to travel between states while saving money and keeping your belongings secure.
