Terrible communication

There was so much misunderstanding among their own personnel that they charged my card the incorrect amount, three boxes were lost from their end, and they only reimbursed me $150. The boxes are far more valuable. This is a really unpleasant move. Don´t hire this company!

Satisfied with the service

My family and I were really happy with Schleppers' skilled crew who assisted us with our move. They took the time to wrap our stuff with care, and there was very little damage. They were able to maneuver through tight spaces with ease and were always polite and hardworking. Everybody should think about using Schleppers for local or long-distance moving.

Shleppers Moving & Storage

We recently moved from our apartment in NYC to our home in Long Island, and Shleppers made the move as seamless as possible. Moving can be very stressful, and they've helped us make the move as stress-free as possible. The crew was awesome and effective, making the move smoother. Long distance move

If someone needs a moving company, I definitely recommend Shleppers Moving & Storage. Out of 41 boxes, I only had one broken glass of wine (with a cross country travel). They were very receptive to all my questions during my move, and prices were very reasonable!

Move from NY to NC

I hired Shleppers to relocate from NYC to North Carolina, the staff and crew they sent were awesome!! It was great from the first call to booked my pickup. I had a problem with being able to help me with this before I moved. Christopher C's got the best customer service person!! He spoke to me through all the steps and made himself available to me in case I had any questions.

They damaged all our stuff

Almost all of our furniture has been damaged. We moved from Manhattan to Brooklyn for a week of storage. The only insurance offered was 60c/lb. There's a huge dent on our wooden console, a broken door on that console, a hole in our Aeron chair, and every one of our leveling legs had at least half the legs left. There are no attempts by the movers to help. In fact, we feel they knew about the damage and didn't tell us-there was clearly something on the console-because they ran off quickly after we tipped them and we didn't realize the extent of the damage until we unwrapped all the blue plastic wrap. Additionally, we were charged last minute for a few items.

Stress-free move

The crew of Shleppers was exceptional. Effective communication & initial quote-including a virtual estimate over Gavin's Facetime. The date of our move had to be changed three times because of the ever-changing closing date-but the team handled the changes without any issue or extra charges, keeping the original price they quoted us. The day of the move was quick and easy. Team was competent, polite, and fortunately quite strong to move our tons of boxes and furniture around. Very recommended and would use again. Thank you!
