Happy customer
I recently hired this company for my move and was very satisfied with the results. The quality of their customer service was amazing. They were always able to answer and explain any of my questions. The pick-up and delivery went better than expected, and I had no problems with my belongings when they came. I will hire them again if necessary, and I will forward their contact information to any family or friends I know who are looking to relocate.
Missing and damaged items - and no response to my contact
we used to move a relative from california to oregon. Items were damaged (broken lamps, table) and missing. her expensive scooter (she cannot walk) was replaced with a broken wheelchair. Her paintings were replaced with cheap dime store art. There is no answer on the telephone number so no way to even leave a message. I did get hung up on once. there were no color or number IDs on the boxes, which were late in delivery, so who knows where her things sat or who now has some nice stuff.
Wonderful!
This was my first cross-country move. This group was awesome! They were really helpful and worked quickly. Nothing was broken when it arrived at our house. When moving the furniture out or back in, they took great care not to damage the walls or floors. Purple Heart informed me of my delivery date and answered all of my questions. Thank you so much!
Exceptional service
I've moved several times with numerous moving companies in the past, and Purple Heart is by far the best. No other company I've used has gone to such lengths to ensure the safety of my belongings. They made a point of noting something that could break and treating it with care because I have a lot of antique pieces, some of which are very delicate. It was such a pleasure to start unpacking and discover that nothing had been affected. That is what I call exceptional service, and I look forward to using them again the next time we move.
Horrible service
I just relocated from California to Colorado. They made an agreement with another organization named SNY Relocation (also awful). Any of my most prized belongings were misplaced or stolen. One box was opened and retaped, and a large amount of rolled money was stolen. Granted, the missing objects were just Christmas decorations, but they had been sent to me by my mother over a 20-year period. Insurance will not solve the issue. Numerous phone calls yielded guarantees that my missing boxes would be found, but no resolution was forthcoming...only empty promises. Do yourself a favor and look for a trustworthy business.
Bad company
DON'T HIRE!!!! These movers charged me twice as much as they quoted and just took 75% of what they quoted. They essentially keep you, hostage, until you are forced to accept the price. They arrived 5 hours late and did not deliver on the requested day. This is a swindle!!!
