Great move

This crew ensured that the relocation went off without a hitch. From the start, they were incredibly professional, dependable, and took the time to listen to what we needed to make the move go well. Pay a little extra for disassembly and reassembling - it's well worth it and relieves the stress of putting up a bed at the end of the day. I totally recommend Premier Chicago Movers to anyone!

We needed to clear out my father's flat after he died. We picked Premier Chicago Movers based on their client reviews. Our experience was excellent. They were on time, worked hard, and were pleasant. The price was the same as the estimate. Everything was removed from the flat and transferred to a storage container to be dealt with later. We observed everything being carried out of the apartment, and when the storage locker was filled by Premier Chicago Movers, we checked their vehicle and found nothing left on it. When we finally got around to unloading the locker, we discovered that two crucial and irreplaceable things had gone stolen. I observed the movers transport these items out of the apartment, but they were nowhere to be found in the locker. One item was a wooden footlocker created by my father when he was in high school, which contained highly precious objects. The other thing was a toolbox stocked with really antique tools that were better constructed than what you can obtain nowadays. We contacted Premier Chicago Movers, who searched their lost and found, but the things were not there. We cleaned out the locker for a year and a half, so it took that long to notice the items were missing. We also discovered that a large gorgeous lamp with a strong brass base and beautifully painted porcelain shade was damaged since the base was packaged on top of the shade in a box labeled "extremely fragile."

Scammers

When obtaining an estimate and paying a deposit they are wonderful, however, if you cancel to get a refund of your money you will have to wait 45 days as I did instead of 30 days like they claimed. I have sent over 20 emails and made 5 phone calls with no answer and I still haven't gotten a refund. They keep claiming it'll happen. If I do not receive my money by the end of this week, I will file a lawsuit. You'll save money and a hassle.

Really good move

We've moved from Chicago to Raleigh North Carolina. I was really worried about my move as I moved a lot of big and expensive things, but these guys did some wonders to secure it all! They did a fantastic job packing and making sure it was going to be safe when it got there. They were very friendly throughout the process and arrived on time for the delivery as well! Thank you guys we're definitely going to use you again!

My experience

Please don't use this business. Our transfer from Michigan to Florida has turned into a tragedy. It was brokered to them, when we landed, we had a lot of things that had never happened. It's been running around and not a lot of contact since December. We have a lawsuit lodged now. The main challenge is the mixture of a secure list of lost personal records. You think they would have discovered where it was taken and brought back by now.

Great work

I've used the movers a lot in my life, and I can easily tell that these guys are the best. Mike and Michele were in a hustle! I couldn't believe that this move had been made in less than 12 hours. Like another reviewer said, they're not asking you to write reviews or give you a discount on good reviews. I'm so happy that I went with them! If I transfer again, I'm going to recruit 100% of them!

Premier Chicago Movers' representative, who manages SF calls, was great. I haven't worked with anyone in a moving company that's as sensitive and thorough. Several of the other companies I received quotes were careless about monitoring, handling quotes, navigating dates and prices, but they were all prompt and detailed both by phone and email.

Nobody should use this

It's a bad company. Don't you ever use them! . Subcontracted with another mover not informing us who demanded that we instantly shoot up with cash only to the point where our stuff was going to be delivered or else they wouldn't deliver it and threatened my wife and I, and said our contract was first global, it wasn't their contract, and they were really late with delivery besides, and they were very costly. I'm reporting this organization to a better corporate office.
