It's a SCAM Avoid them
There is no much to say besides a "Do not go with this Moving company". There are tons of reviews going to clarify why, and I can relate to them all. Broken furniture, breach of contract, rip off, lies, stuff that has been damaged and missed, threats, and the worse: they pretend to be good people, but the scam comes after payment and continues to go until delivery. If you want to avoid an enormous headache, avoid them. Jim was the person I spoke to, and he spent nearly 30min on the phone trying to prove he was a trusting person, even using his sister and daughter on his way to getting me to sign a contract. The person I needed to deal with after was Sam. The only difference between them is that Sam is going to talk to you the way he wants, low - ranking words and bad explanations about pretty much everything and he's going to threaten you if he needs to, with Jim being different because he's going to pretend he's caring. Then he's going to be gone. None are going to solve a problem. They just run away. I've tried for the past three weeks, and they've got excuses for everything, but they don't even have an updated inventory of my stuff. They are a gigantic mess. That company is a complete scam. I have reported them to the FTC, and if you were a victim of them, I suggest you do the same. In three buildings around my neighborhood and another five back in the Bay Area, I added a warning too. I have had the opportunity to speak to two people about doing business with them. I had my 1-bedroom apartment moved from San Francisco to Austin, but everything was broken or damaged, and they called me saying they would dump my stuff somewhere else if I didn't pay another 2k! All it took to be cash. PEAPACK is terrible news; all those reviews can tell you. It is not just an experience of mine. They steal from innocent and humble people, avoid being a part of it. And we feel sorry for them.

Horrible Company
PeaPack Completely lies about the cost of your move, they added $1000.00 more than they estimated. On delivery my furniture arrived and the driver was extremely rude and put my entertainment center, bed, and washer/dryer in backwards and got vocally agressive when I asked them to put things together correctly. The driver left wihtout putting all my furniture together and the local helper he hired of craigslist stayed to help put everything together without being paid from the driver. The helper did most of the work himself. PeaPack Moving and storage was nice when I called them but no one from Trans Van Lines ever called me back. Trans Van lines is the company they hired to move me someone told me this is their second company. Absolutely Do NOT hire this company unless you want a horrible experience.
