They are liars!!
I decided to hire them in good faith, but they raised the price twice and only accepted cash before unloading. When they delivered, I saw why: smashed boxes, ruined and damaged furniture, a missing mirror for the bedroom set, a hole in the top of the dresser, a gouge in the top of the cherry table, a coffee table corner is gone, and components missing. When I asked the driver to mark the damage, he stated it wasn't his problem, but he tore up the invoice when I pressed. Would not unload truck until payment was received. and my wife signed... all before we unloaded the truck. They are deceptive, and the line to register a claim has been disconnected; Anthony has not returned repeated phone calls and emails. As a result, the one star is incorrect; it should be zero. Don't believe any reviews you read; they can't be true.
Highly recommended
Old Country Van Lines is not like the typical money-hungry moving businesses we used to utilize in Virginia. The crew that was assigned to me displayed excellent abilities and attention to detail; they knew exactly what to do at the correct time and in the right manner. They are informed of the regulations that control the moving sector, which was beneficial because they adapted well in order to stay on the safe side of the big truck loading requirements. They are extremely dependable and always do an excellent job.
Great Job!
I moved recently and was looking for a skilled and honest moving company to assist me. I ultimately decided on Old Country Van Lines after much investigation, and I am really satisfied with the outcome. I had many important and delicate objects that needed to be handled with care. Everyone I dealt with at the organization was pleasant and professional, and they assisted me with all of my requirements. I definitely suggest it.
A+ Service
I used Old Country Van Lines for my move, and it went quite smoothly. I received all of my belongings much sooner than I had anticipated. The company exceeded our expectations, and Rafael's phone call provided me the confidence to hire Old Country Van Lines for my move. He went through all of my belongings over the phone and quoted me an estimate. My experience with this firm was positive, and I will certainly suggest Old Country Van Lines to my friends.
Scam!
After months of battling Old Country Van Lines for thousands of dollars in property damage, I was finally sent papers for a $450 damage claim, and I decided to settle just to get something back. I recently got a call saying they went bankrupt, so if you have a claim for damages and haven't gotten your money yet, you won't receive it now. While I'm upset, at least they're no longer in business and can't take advantage of clients or harm their possessions.
