DON`T HIRE THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. In January 2019, I moved from New Jersey to Arizona. Northstar subcontracted this relocation to State-to-State Movers in New Jersey. I would give both companies 0 stars if I could. Northstar overcharged me for the cubic feet of goods that were shipped. After they took control of my property, I was obliged to pay. They also demanded a (false) $600 cash payment (to use a local shuttle truck at the destination, which was not required) before unloading my property upon delivery. This was a ruse. The delivery took place two weeks later than planned. Communication was shameful and unacceptable during the move. There were also notable lost and destroyed boxes and other property. I strongly advise you to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Dishonest company
They quoted me around $1500, but when they arrived, it had risen to nearly $3000. The workers demanded food and drinks, smelt bad, and drove a rented truck. They smashed my television, tv stand, and speakers, messed up my $5,000 bed, and took my paid-for boxes. It was the most expensive move I've ever made, and I had to leave a lot of things behind.
Great experience
This was the first time we hired a mover, and everything turned out exactly as the representative described. The guys were a little late, but they called to let me know, which is very important to me. What a dedicated group of people. Very respectful and friendly. I'll be using Northstar for our next move, if one happens.
Really good job
My mother and I recently hired Northstar Movers for our relocation to Florida, and everything went smoothly. We had a great group of guys who worked extremely hard. I was amazed at how quickly they completed everything. Ryan was in charge, and he really looked after my mother, which is huge in my book. Thank you, Northstar, as well as Ryan and the guys.
Excellent moving company
Northstar Movers handled my move from North Carolina to Florida, and I couldn't be happier. I wasn't sure what to expect because I'd never used a moving company before, but Mike made me feel at ease right away, and I hired him. Nelson was very polite, and the men he sent did an excellent job. I appreciate it all and will spread the word. Thank you very much.
Licenses & Certificates:
Companies that transport household goods within Florida like Northstar Movers have to register annually with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Bureau of Compliance is the responsible regulatory authority that manages intrastate movers. Movers should be registered with the FMCSA to operate interstate.
