They did a good job

i went with northern on my move from ny to nj and they did a really good job. The local office there was a pleasure to deal with. the quote process was pretty easy. The movers that moved us were super respectful and did a really good job. Thank you guys for your help.

Disappointed

Northern Moving Systems was a nightmare for me. They disappear after taking your money and will not provide you with the help or guidance that they promised you beforehand. They are a broker (they don't finish the move themselves) and don't appear to check their partners very well in my experience, so it's truly a crapshoot whether you'll get a reliable, helpful firm or not. Then, because neither corporation wants to accept responsibility for the results, the blame is passed back and forth. If I were to do it over, I would just pay extra to use a genuine moving firm rather than a broker.

Worst experience ever!

I've relocated several times throughout the years but never had a problem until my most recent relocation. This business was the absolute worst. They wouldn't tell me a confirmed date until 24 hours before the time they were supposed to arrive, despite the fact that I had reserved the day three months in advance. Then they hired a different company to carry out the relocation. From pick-up to delivery, dates and times were all mixed up. Several goods were damaged, including furniture. The dispatcher was arrogant and disrespectful. I will never do business with this company again.

Best service

When loading the truck, the movers worked efficiently and were extremely careful with all of my more delicate stuff. It made it so much easy to relax knowing that my belongings were in good hands. If I hadn't found them, I doubt I would have been able to make the move. I don't plan on relocating across the nation anytime soon, but if I would, I'd know who to call.

Smooth move

My move was made easier than I could have expected. I was worried of the amount of effort needed in relocating my entire life when I made preparations to move to a new city, but NMS handled it with ease. Everyone was really courteous and reassuring me that I was in safe hands. If I ever have to move again, Northern Moving Systems will absolutely be my first choice.

Stress-free move

I'm just like any other person, I hate to move. Luckily, in today's world, there are options that make transitions of this kind so much easier. Northern Moving Systems took so much stress out of my move, and I was shocked at how affordable it was. I did the math before I decided to go with them and, having considered all the factors, I was pretty sure that hiring them would be my best and most time-efficient option. Moving back to my little hometown was so simple, affordable, and I dare say that? Even nice! I can't recommend their services enough, and I'm going to be a repeat customer for my next family move.

Unprofessional company

Poorly wrapped, badly marked boxes, broken items, rude behavior, grossly understaffed, poor communication between drivers and dispatch, and a merciless effort to overload us by withholding deliveries until we have produced an itemized list of our payments. In a word, appalling. Don't use it.

Efficient

The movers were friendly and polite, and they carefully moved my fragile and valuable goods. They were very informative about all the different moments I had to wait for, which were not numerous as they were really quick! The only thing I could ask for more is to receive all the items they moved, but this is something I should have prepared myself.

Good company

Northern moving systems made my family move, and I was much less stressful than it could have been. They were responsive and honest workers who showed integrity and understood the stress that my family and I were going through. Would definitely recommend it!

Amazing service

My experience with Northern Moving Systems has been painless and fantastic. Recently, my mother moved in with us, a combination of pandemics and health concerns. Our movers have been polite, safe, and extremely courteous throughout the process, even though the place was still a bit of a mess. If I ever have to make another big move, Northern is sure to be one of my places to go.
