Terrible move

This was my first time moving, and it was a nightmare! They will provide you with a low estimate and then charge you more on the day of the transfer. They justify the overcharge by arguing that the rate is hourly, so in the end, they can charge you whatever they want. They quoted me 5 hours for my shift, which would consist of two separate moves (out of my apartment, storage for one week, and into a new apartment). When I explicitly asked if that 5-hour quote was enough for the entire moving phase, they said yes. I thought it would probably take another 2-3 hours, but I was completely wrong. They ended up costing me another 5 hours, but they didn't even quote me for the second leg of the transfer. In addition, two of my things were chipped. Do yourself a favor and hire a different moving business.

Amazing job

My husband and I recently agreed to hire a moving company to help us relocate from New Jersey to New York. I wasn't excited about the transfer because I'm well aware of all the inconveniences that come with it. My coworker suggested New Jersey Transport because her in-laws had used them when they moved to Florida. Vanessa, my agent, was incredibly supportive and kindly explained the entire moving process. We chose them because of their strong reputation and positive feedback. The staff arrived on time on the day of the transfer, and we were ready to go. They were gentle with our things and took great care in loading them on the truck. Within a day, everything was unpacked and taken care of. It could have been better

Despite receiving my written request not to deliver my things before a particular date, the driver called me one week before they were to be shipped and said he was dropping my goods off at noon or I would have to pay for storage. They also charged me $400 more than the estimate (which they didn't tell me about until the trucker called). Then, when I asked for a refund on the overcharge for dropping off items early, they said no. Before they packed up my belongings and then totally left me, the person I booked the move with was my best friend. These are the movers who are warned about by other movers. Choose someone else.

Great moving service

I didn't even read the reviews before booking because my son in law recommended me. The movers were highly courteous, polite, and qualified. They took it apart, wrapped it like a Christmas gift, and lifted my heavy furniture without breaking a sweat. Not a single thing was broken when my items arrived in my new home in Florida. They did all of the packing, which I'm sure helped. After several hours of sweating in the sun, they had finished putting together my home. There aren't enough positive things to say about this business. I'd like to thank everyone who assisted me in making this transfer a good experience.
