A whole nightmare
We relocated back in July 2015. The rep who set up the move was a very nice man and made all kinds of promises. I was already halfway to our new home on the day of my transfer so my husband and son were with the movers. He said it was a major misunderstanding and disagreement between the movers. My mom's bed couldn't be moved, so she had to buy a new one. There was so much damage and broken items when our household goods arrived. When I got a call to give my opinion, I told you all that had happened and I was guaranteed an email containing the forms to claim the damages. 6/26/2016 and still no e-mail, no claim form and no refund for damaged goods. We've switched from MA to NC. I wouldn't recommend this business to anybody. I wish we had used someone local who does state to transfer, or I should have read the feedback before I make the move. Quite unhappy with all the experience. We were also fooled by the sales person who had to stay in a hotel for days longer than we planned in the delivery period. It's Joel Levine.
Poor experience
I've moved multiple times in my 25 year military career, and Nationwide Van Lines has been the worst. At my last move, I had more than $10k in missing and broken goods. I was asked to make a "quick settlement" of $5k, and now it's been over two months without any compensation. Their Customer Relations Manager, Rick Vera, was extremely dishonest. I would totally avoid this company!
My move
THANKS Nationwide Van Lines for a first-rate 300-mile transfer from NJ to VA. From the first call with Laurie Osorio to the pickup and unloading in a storage unit with Uzi and Denzel, all specifications were clear and properly managed. They've actually taken the worry out of the process. They have been handling my items with care from the beginning to the end. It was a great start to a new beginning.
Best service ever
The window was precise to pick up. The movers I had were awesome. They were fast and they handled my belongings with respect. No damages. They clearly knew what they were doing. The estimate was based on the point. It's literally a penny. Excellent service all around and would be highly recommended, especially for long distance moves.
So many moves to count!!
I've moved more than 17 times in the last 30 years. Yes! LOL. Without a doubt, I can say that Nationwide Van Lines was the best! They were on time, the owner, Shahaf first showed up and waited for his men to come. They laid a long red carpet, not to bring dirt into my home, and wrapped every part of furnishings with care. I've got a dining table that's all glass, legs and everything, and someone came in the day before I moved to crate it. The men were gracious and respectful, and they clearly knew what to do. They cover the whole of the U.S., so if I move again (hopefully not) Nationwide is the company that I will call.
