Terrible Experience. Uncompromising Management.

I would never use this company. I feel this company completely ripped me off, then sent me to collections when I asked them to compensate me for the tv they lost!! I hired this company for a cross-country move. I paid the full invoice of $8,200. I paid the invoice in-full. Upon delivery of my items, I reported they were missing our main living room television. The company outright refused to assist with the missing television. In fact, they added another $1,200 to the invoice a month after the move was finished, and said I would need to pay that to investigate the lost television. Any attempt to resolve this with management or ownership was completely unsuccessful. In fact I felt, the manager, David, was very difficult and uncompromising .

Just Horrible

Don't use this company, they're totally uncompromising. I hired Muscular Moving men to move to another state and transport my car. My house was packed with my real estate agent in my house. First of all, they didn't communicate at all about what was going on. The only communication was to collect money. They relocated me to Texas, and when they delivered, there were a lot of things missing and a lot of stuff damaged, and they forgot about my car, they literally forgot about it. They did not comply with the contract dates, my car was delivered late, and there were no excuses or financial adjustments. They brought a couple of things they lost with my car, including a lamp and no shades, making them useless. After that, about a month later, my leaf was found and delivered to my Ethan Allen DR set, but it was completely broken. Then they sent me something sentimental (after I had been hounding them for a month) and it was all torn-they found it somewhere on the floor of their warehouse. I still miss a fair amount of stuff, including my personal checks (which I am suspicious about). They missed a lot of things in my house, like my whole stove drawer and all my mats. I'm missing a lot of items from my guest room and garage, and they're not even going to look into it. It's been ten weeks since I moved and kept noting things I've been missing, some nice quality items that I've been wondering if they've been stolen. Every piece of my furniture was damaged, I paid an extra $500 for insurance, and they said I have a $1,000 deductible, none of which was communicated to me in advance. They wouldn´t answer a call, return a call or reply to an email. I had to re-buy a lot, a lot of things, but I can't replace a bunch of them. I took a while to file this complaint, hoping that they would find my missing items, some of them very sentimental. Don't use them, they're going to ruin your move and your things.

Definitely recommend

This was the third time I used Muscular Moving Men over the last 2 years. I would call nobody else. They are competent, prompt, efficient, and very pleasant to work with from booking, to proper operation of the move, and followup they are a joy to work with!

Good company

One thing that surprised me a lot was communication from the initial quote to the day of the move in respect to confirming what I needed moving, estimated arrival windows, etc. The two men team were also good - very effective and more importantly careful with my stuff.

Awesome service

It's moved more times than I'd like to count over the last 10 years, and this was by far the best experience I've had. The team was on time, professional, and took care of all the items. They didn't hesitate to help us arrange furniture multiple times until we got it right in the new house. Brandon, Damian, and Phillip had positive and upbeat attitudes that made an otherwise unpleasant experience a positive experience.
