These people were jerks.
You should save your money. These individuals were supposed to relocate me from Los Angeles to New York, but they were extremely unprofessional, hardly came on time, and had some of the nastiest phone agents I've dealt with in a long time. Look for a new neighborhood restaurant (the national movers have so much overhead that they charge a lot). I have a buddy who rented for $400 less by using a smaller, only Moving Giants LLC
Liars!
I should have read the reviews beforehand. When I contacted this organization, the first question I asked was if they could provide me with a guaranteed delivery date. The pick-up date was variable, but I needed the things delivered on a specific day when someone would be available to collect the delivery. That was not an issue, I was informed. The pick-up date was chosen to allow for delivery on my preferred date. Then, on the delivery day, with my person waiting, we discover that it was simply recorded as the "first available" date to deliver and that the products will arrive "some time" the next week. Even though they did, I was told they "never" promise a delivery date. I'd even confirmed it with the individual who had picked up the package. There is no customer service. Calls and emails go unanswered. I'm still waiting to hear when they'll deliver and will have to hire someone to meet them when they eventually show up.
DO NOT USE THIS JOKE COMPANY
This firm was awful. They appeared fine at first, but when I paid my deposit, everything went south. The pick-up was semi-organized but not excellent. I waited an extra ten days after they claimed they would deliver. They arrived around 8.30 p.m. to unload the vehicle. Half of the boxes were damaged. They failed to take care of boxes with delicate stickers (which I added to every side of those boxes to make sure it was clear). They claimed to have misplaced the hardware for my bed and so left without reassembling it as specified in the contract, leaving me to "figure it out." Those were the delivery men's exact statements.
from San Diego to San Francisco
Awful service, they are rude persons
Customer service is atrocious! Brandy hung up on me, which was really unprofessional and nasty, to say the least. Avoid this company at all costs. They lied to make a transaction, and then they claim it would take 10 days or more to acquire the goods they assist you to move!! and will not refund your money if you do not receive a service. Not only was I disconnected, but no one has returned my call. They're con artists!
Don't be deceived by them
This organization is outstanding at accepting deposits and providing low-balling quotations. I gave them a deposit of $8000 in exchange for a contractual quote of roughly $20,000. I was under the notion that we would receive a large moving vehicle as well as an extra little one in case we required it. On moving day, Moving Giants LLC arrived in three hired trucks, much to our amazement. Please check my review of the firm. After all, was said and done, the total cost came to $48,000. This firm should be avoided. Don't believe their too-good-to-be-true quotes. Check the FMCSA first, and check for yourself the complaints received this year. They will defraud you. Locate a trustworthy moving company.
Do not trust on them
This firm poses as movers and asks you questions about your stuff in order to calculate the cost of your relocation. Later calls will bill that estimate as their "broker fee," and they will just contact a genuine moving company to perform the same thing. As a result, you wind up paying twice for your relocation! And all they've done is pick up the phone and call someone you might have dealt with directly. They will give a good initial impression and have procedures in place to appear genuine, but once they have part of your money and your signature, they will no longer reply to your queries. When they do talk with you, they will mislead you in order to comfort you until they get the remainder of the money they are attempting to defraud you. Then, after the professional movers arrive, you won't hear from them again.
Thieves!!
My all-wood furniture looked to have sat in the water and was coated with mold!! I spent a considerable sum of money for them to trash everything I possess, including irreplaceable personal objects that held many memories! Please don't end up like me! I intend to take legal action, but I don't want anybody else to go through what I experienced. All three of these businesses are bogus and should have their business licenses canceled. Tell everyone you know not to use them!!! They also advised me that I would lose my money or that it may be held for a year in case I needed to hire them again. Why would I ever want to work with these scumbags again? They simply want to keep my $1599 deposit after doing nothing! REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!
I give them 0 stars.
Do not do business with this firm! A gentleman persuaded me out of going with another firm since he claimed to have 10 years of expertise in the sector and his own vehicles. He told me that my belongings will be delivered on schedule. Apparently, he outsourced to another firm called Moving Giants LLC (do not do business with them either!!). Horrible bunch of individuals that don't care about you or your personal possessions). My goods were meant to be delivered on August, however, they did not pick up my stuff until the 1st of September, and my stuff was not delivered until October 12th. My belongings were moved to Florida and who knows where else. The gentlemen that transported my belongings worked with a firm called Moving Giants LLC. The person was extremely terrible; he refused to allow me to inspect my furniture before unloading it and paying him the remaining sum. When he saw my belongings were destroyed, he shouted at me and my sister!!! "Stop getting so emotional, this is just business, and I should cool down!" he said. My brand-new furniture was all smashed and water-damaged. Every box had been shattered and was damp. They were spreading on my shoes and clothes when I opened the boxes. Almost everything had to be discarded.
