It is only an agent, not a moving company.

You should not hire this moving business. It is not a BBB-accredited business. It has a number of complaints. Please pick a BBB-accredited moving company, even if their initial estimate is exorbitant. This company is only an agent, and the actual move is handled by another company, which will cost you at least three to four times their estimate. They appear and inform you that your furniture is larger than we predicted. Don't be fooled by this company's Google reviews, which show one reviewer awarding it 5 stars many times. If someone is truly pleased with their move with the company, they will just review it once, not six or seven times.

Im still waiting

We were really unhappy and will never recommend this firm to anyone for a cross-country (our case) or even a local move. We have yet to get our belongings, and we presently do not have a projected departure OR arrival date for our items, which were picked up in California 17 days ago. If at all possible, I would offer a 0-star rating. This company is not at all what it claims to be on its website. They are not a moving firm, but they know how to store your belongings and leave them there in collaboration with any random second-rate moving company they chose to do business with.

1 Start, they are a joke

They make promises they can't meet and delegate the actual move to whichever moving company best suits their requirements. Mine was supposed to arrive in 1-10 business days, however, it took 22 days. I couldn't sleep because I didn't have a bed. They broke at least ten objects that are no longer recoverable. You should save your money and move on your own.

Customer service is a joke.

A month in advance, I paid them the first installment price for moving my belongings from Florida to North Carolina. They announced they couldn't come on the arranged day less than a week before (after I had already purchased a plane ticket for the day after the moving company was due to arrive). Fine. I paid $200 to modify my flight to the new confirmed moving date. The next day, they indicated they couldn't do it and still didn't send a portion of the money (as they had promised) for the flight change. After that, they attempted AGAIN to get me to alter my ticket, but I didn't feel comfortable doing so because I had never received compensation for my earlier flight change. Then they stated that they would be unable to appear AT ALL inside the original three-day window promised in the receipt confirmation. So what was once a $1700 bargain has ballooned to over $2000 in airline fees and missed days at my new job because they were unable to achieve the timeframe they set for themselves. When I called customer support, I was hung up on, transferred, and made to feel as if I was the one bothering THEM. All of the supervisors and managers would never pick up the phone, and communication was a complete train mess. They made no attempt to financially compensate me or even connect with me beyond what I had to do just to get someone on the phone. I've never had so many problems in my life as I have with this firm. I'm writing this with no solution to my situation and no one knowing what to do to help.

THIEVES

Do Not Use This Company; they take advantage of unsuspecting customers. Levic Moving  California, in my opinion, is conducting a swindle moving operation on its clients. My partner and I recently relocated from Los Angeles to Wisconsin, and we were able to reach anyone at Levic Moving within a few rings of a phone call. They are now IMPOSSIBLE to reach in order to receive all of my furniture, etc. Phone numbers are disconnected, some numbers are routed to voicemail, and emails are not returned. We are anxiously trying to find out when we will receive our furniture, but they are refusing to cooperate, in dispatch have promised to react with an ETA four times and have yet to do so. According to our contract, "a corporate officer must contact the customer to confirm delivery time period before the shipment leaves for the destination." This did not occur. The driver will notify the customer of the time period at least one day before the shipment is delivered. This, too, does not occur. Not to mention that our first estimate was greatly exaggerated. $1659 suddenly became $3005 due to expenses I was not aware of prior to booking with the firm.

Worst encounter ever

COMPANY IS NOT HONORABLE. My recommendation is to stay away from this firm. When I arrived, the supervisor threatened me with considerably more money than I had promised to pay for thorough / secure packing. This was a move that I had planned for weeks in advance, and I felt backed into a hole, having to spend thousands more on top of an already exorbitant moving estimate. It was a complete shambles, and we ultimately decided not to forward with the relocation. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT COMPANY. They will appear professional to work with until the move day is shakedown.

Be Wary – Not Honest | Proceed With Caution!!

My own experiences are detailed here. If given the option, I would not use them again and would not suggest them to others. The girl in the main office was responsive and helpful prior to the move. She was either unresponsive or behaved as a hurdle to getting answers/resolutions after the agreement was signed. The foreman compelled me to pay an additional $400 cash on the day of the transfer. This stuff appeared to be more than what was initially quoted.

Be Alert, Not Fear

If you want your belongings to arrive safely, their packing crew is unrivaled. However, when all of the bids for our move from California to Texas came in around $25,000, Elite's pricing was just $14,000. I said, "I'll take it." That gives me a total of 11k problems covered. Just be aware that they pull a bait-and-switch on you since they had ways of pushing their fee up to over $20,000 when all was said and done, not to mention thousands in gratuities, which I was glad to pay. The final line is that we received all of our items delivered ultimately and in one piece, so despite their purposeful deception, I still saved roughly 20%.

SCAMMERS!! THEY ARE RUDE PEOPLE!

This firm REACHED OUT TO ME FOR A LONG DISTANCE MOVE I HAD, making it appear as if they conduct the entire move and you agree on the pricing ahead of time. I had no idea these jerks were merely contacting a legitimate moving business, yet they cost me about $900 just to pick up the phone. Furthermore, the company they hired was dreadful and had only been in operation for a few months. I was also advised that once picked up, my move would take 4-10 days. This company then charged me an additional $3500 after picking up my belongings and keeping them for nearly a month before returning them, and when they did, they had lost a 60-inch flatscreen tv, 5 large boxes, a bed frame, and 4 lamps because it was a pathetically run company that used college students to do their moves. Wen I tried to contact open road because the firm they hired would not answer or return phone calls, texts, or emails about my belongings, and they still haven't to this day. Levic Moving simply says "it's not our issue you need to contact the moving company," specifically. I believe her name is, and she is an older woman on the Levic Moving who is absolutely disrespectful and offers no assistance. This company is a scam, and they charged me for things like a heavier weight or freight for my stuff, only to be doubly charged by the other company. Even worse, when I click on the "receipts" or "purchase confirmations" that open road charged or emailed me for the $900 they took, they simply say "page cannot be found."

Worst business ever.

I was initially assured that they were a family-run business. Nothing could be further from the truth when they hire outside movers that do not intend to honor the promised price. The movers arrive in a rental truck with a driver who immediately tells me that it's $1,000 extra or they can't relocate me. Trying to claim that my furniture was considerably heavier, despite the fact that I had it delivered recently and know the actual weight. When you confronted him about it, he tried to claim that the wrapping and two flights of stairs demanded more money. When I called him on it, he turned around and dialed his workplace number. Irena Love contacts me and tells me the same thing. After explaining, she adds, "I don't care, it'll cost you an extravel thousand." When I refused, she proceeded to treat me like a child, calling me names and saying things I won't repeat, before claiming that fine, we're keeping your deposit and leaving. This is by far the worst organization I've ever dealt with, and I'm a frequent business traveler. When dealing with this company, exercise extreme caution.
