Helped with gma
This company was super helpful with getting my grandmother moved from Florida to her Retirement Village in Oklahoma. They were very gentle with her and her belongings and try to help create a stress-free environment and move. I am super grateful for everything that they did for her and would definitely use them again in the future.
Easy cross country move
I had an excellent experience working with Interstate Moving & relocation. They moved me completely across the country from Florida to Southern California. They showed up on time and got the job done for right around the cost of that was promised. It did end up being a little more expensive because of the size of the load or weight or something like that but it wasn't too big of a deal. They were still extremely reasonable for a cross-country move. I would definitely use them again if I need to move back across the country.
As easy as it gets
I submitted a request for a quote here on MMR.com and got a quote from IMRG. Their quote was very reasonable. I believe it was actually the lowest one that I received. The staff at IMRG was very communicative and receptive to all my concerns about the move and timing. Everything ended up being moved carefully and the truck arrived at my new home in TN a few hours earlier than expected. I highly recommend IMRG for anybody looking to move to another state.
Easy to work with
My mother needed to pack her things and move fast. I came by Interstate Moving and Relocation. I'm pretty happy and satisfied with their work. Everything happened in the time frame that was estimated. The guys who came were really well behaved, cheerful and funny. They did their job fast and strict. Will use again in the future!
This is the largest rip-off organization.
This has been the worst nightmare anyone could ever imagine. All of my belongings (4 bedroom house) were said to fit in a single container. I even told the sales representative that my possessions filled a 26-foot truck from front to back, floor to roof. When they arrived, the container was so little that it couldn't even hold half of my possessions. The container was then so badly damaged that it would have been dangerous to put anything in it. After roughly 20 calls and ten days, I was finally able to speak with a manager. Only a little more than half of what I had already paid back was offered by the manager. When I asked to speak with someone from the corporation, they said they couldn't help me.
Awful experience.
I've never had a worse moving experience. The movers hurried through the delivery since they "don't get paid by the hour." This has been brought up several times to me. Second, because my platform bed would not fit in the elevator, they advised me to rid of it (and I would have to dispose of it). It just had to ascend one flight of steps! I requested them to at least attempt, and they got it up halfway through the trip before giving up. It's up to my Father and me to take it apart. Even though it was in the contract, they refused to put it back together.
Worst moving company I've ever used
They gave me a quote over the phone after going through all of the items and boxes we had, all in order to receive my deposit. When the moving day arrived, the truck driver went over everything, and called the company, and said that the 26-foot truck they sent was not all for me, I suppose to use only have of the truck, based on the space the company set for us, we had a two-story house with three rooms, two dining areas, and two living areas, plus around fifty already packed boxes. REALLY, ONLY HAVE A TRUCK.!! Definitely, a smart approach to persuade people to pay extra on the day of the move. They wanted us to pay an additional $2700 after we had been contracted and paid a deposit of over $2000..be careful people, NOT A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY.!!
Scammers that use subcontractors and cause harm to your property
The worst moving company we've ever used. They relocated across the nation through a pre-arranged plan (which we did not know about ahead of time, red flag). Despite the fact that I submitted images and an itemized inventory of my boxes and things, the cost more than quadrupled by the time the movers came. The pick-up crew sought a 100 percent price increase based on information that should have been known; what option do you have under such duress? Furthermore, they charged over $900 in packing supplies and a new extra distance cost, all of which were well known at the time of the quotation — insane. My personal stuff was destroyed during the move-out, and I was required to pay my security deposit but was not offered a refund. Many things have been dented and dinged and are no longer serviceable. Extremely costly, not worth it, and dishonest organization. The only hope is that even one person will read this and profit from it, avoiding doing dealings with these con artists.
DO NOT USE THIS OR ANY OTHER BRANCH!!
I utilized a broker that said they employed their own movers but ended up using this awful company! Important tools were left behind. "He forgot," stated the driver I talked with. I'm not going back to collect them, would not accept responsibility in this firm. If I didn't pay, he threatened to charge me storage fees. I've been on hold for a month and there hasn't been a resolution. Awful!
Bad movers
I planned a move from upstate New York to central Florida. They didn't tell me until 5 p.m. on the day I had to move that they couldn't perform my move. We had to go acquire a u-haul, pack it, and drive it ourselves. After more than three weeks of assurances, I am still waiting for my ACH deposit to be refunded. It's impossible to talk to anyone about this. If you're thinking of hiring a moving company, think twice.
