They are scammers!
Please spare yourself the heartache. They quote you a low price and then on moving day the subcontractor gives you another price 4000 higher, than the company comes out the second day will no take all of your things, trying to get more money from you
Bridge relocation
I'm unable to post my full evaluation because it exceeds 6000 characters... It is currently. I have not received a phone call, text message, or email from anyone regarding the location of my stuff. They are at the end of their 21-day timeframe and, as of tomorrow, will be in contempt of their contract with me to deliver my products. Items such as completely new furniture that I'm still paying for, so that company will be the other party demanding damages for their belongings, as well as items such as my dad's remains. To state, this has been the worst situation I could have conceived and the largest waste of thousands of dollars would be an exaggeration.

Would use again
Moving around is exhausting enough. Hire A Helper has taken some of the stress away. I had to relocate my household items twice, because I needed to temporarily store items in a pod. I have gone through Hire a Helper both times. They made it so easy to find a decent, hard-working, respectful company to move. Would definitely suggest them.

Good service
Hire A Helper website was easy to use, clearly outlining all the movers ready to support and detailing how much they charge. They also preserved the payment in reserve until the job was done, so I wasn't worried that I was giving money and I wasn't getting any help.
Supporting company
After driving all night, straight from Florida to Illinois, it was such a pleasure to be allowed to get out of the truck and also have two movers there to unload the truck to my apartment. They were polite, efficient and did the job in the 2 hour timeframe that I paid for. I would highly recommend Hire a helper to anyone in need of relocating help.
Bad customer service
This is one of the recommended "PODS" services for packing and unpacking, so I felt comfortable to use them. I don't want to recommend HireAHelper based on how they write their contracts to overload you easily when you hire help. In my case, it was an easy unloading that took LESS THAN 2 hours and I was charged 4 hours. My understanding from a long telephone conversation was that there would be a "contingency time" in case the two hours were not enough. Well, I agreed with that. Somehow it was written to be a contract for 4 hours of work. With the stress of moving, it shouldn't be just the fine print that determines your final bill. I needed more explanation as to how this happened. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DID NOT HELP. There is no sympathy, no kudos for the unused time. I don't recommend HireAHelper to help you move.

Empathic company
Hire a helper who saved the day when I needed help! It was easy to use because I had less than 24 hours notice-it was quick and provided a variety of choices, so I could make price comparisons and research that I would employ. The company I found was very supportive and trustworthy. A wonderful resource that I will use again and suggest.
