Average move

I needed to move within a month for a job relocation on short notice. I sent out quotes and received multiple phone calls...but one stood out. GSR. The guy who assisted me was pleasant and cooperative throughout the entire procedure. My frustration with this moving business stems from the fact that they under priced me...not by a small difference, but by nearly half! It's a closed job once they receive your deposit. You've lost communication with them and are now working with the direct vendor. I have more to say about the direct vendor, but that will be covered in a later review. Also, make certain to read the small print. Some of their services are incompatible with those provided by the direct vendor. Fortunately, the seller willingly implemented what the vendor quoted, such as "free elevator use." I will never use a broker again. Save thousands of dollars by performing the relocation yourself.

Highly recommended

This relocation business comes highly recommended from me. They're the most professional movers I've ever dealt with. They arrived on time, were pleasant, worked tirelessly, and, most importantly, did not damage any of my belongings. With this company, you won't have to worry about anything going missing. I highly suggest them for both big and small moves!

They stole some of my items

The first quotation was $3100, however, it was later revised. Then there were missing goods, damaged plates, and other kitchen items. I requested insurance information but never received it. They take money to reserve and then hold the cards, which is quite dishonest. I had a lot of fun with the first man. I chatted with the manager there but after that, customer service fell down, and it took the firm three weeks to deliver our items.

THIEVES & LIARS! - $15k after #3k "GUARANTEE"!

I ended up paying almost $15,000 after a "guaranteed" quote of $3,200, they DESTROYED, lost, or outright stole almost half of my stuff, and it was delivered THREE MONTHS LATE. They must spend all of their money on marketing. They pretend they have no responsibility over the movers they hand your stuff to. These brokers are criminals. Their first lie: "We're a moving company." - THEY ARE BROKERS WHO WILL SCAM YOU!

Bad service

I can't tell you how disappointed I was with my experience with your moving business. When I called, I received an estimate with each item described, and when the people arrived at my property, they said the price was incorrect and gave us a totally different price with a very bad attitude, and he said he was planning to contact the company to refund the deposit, and they had the abuse of taking a video to my garage with my family inside, and they left.

I'm unable to recomment it.

Their degree of concern does not correspond to their quality of customer service. A number of my belongings were damaged, destroyed, or gone. In reality, because pieces were missing, the drivers were unable to assemble the majority of my furniture upon arrival. The truckers were so taken aback by the shoddy craftsmanship that they contacted customer support to check the company's poor packaging and management. I am currently in the process of filing a claim to resolve this, but I wish I had picked a different company altogether to spare myself the bother. As a result, I would not suggest Gold Standard Relocation for any large relocation. As previously said, their degree of care does not correspond to their level of customer service.

This movie was a fiasco.

After numerous attempts to get Gold Standard Relocation to announce a delivery date and time, they arrived, but our son's belongings, and then LEFT! They did not remove items from boxes. They did not make beds or set up a dining room table. They went in such a hurry that they did not notify us of their departure and even left their own packing clothes there. From start to finish.

Fraudulent Practices

They offered me a good price and sent a truck that was from another company. As soon as they finished packing my things, they asked me for double the money or they would just throw my things out of the truck. This is what a fraudulent and lying company does.
