Bad service

I would give this firm 0 stars if I could. I'm set to start a residency in Auburn on Friday. They were scheduled to move me on Monday. They didn't show up, and they didn't call to let us know there was an issue. We had to contact them and wait for an hour before speaking with anyone. They just canceled our relocation after speaking with many people. It's a horrible company.

Criminal enterprise

The worst company is Gold Standard Moving and Storage!   This crew lied about everything, and the corporation will cheat, lie, and take your money. Gold Standard is not even a moving firm; they are a third-party agency that employs low-cost movers. In my perspective, Gold Standard is a criminal enterprise! Never, ever use them!

Where's my stuff?

I've been pending for my belongings for two weeks, and they refuse to take the money or even set a time for me to pick them up. I'm ready to file a suit against that kind of business. I'm becoming increasingly frustrated; we need our belongings! I've got items I need in that vehicle!

Don't hire them !!

They pretend to be interested in your move, but then outsource the task to extremely unskilled moving firms. They added an extra $1,000 for no reason. When a lady in a truck arrived (who claimed to have never moved anything in her life), 1/4 of my furniture was damaged. I had to personally take everything off the truck and even buy a dolly. It took me 4 hours to complete. They promised white-glove treatment. Then they destroyed my whole art collection. My late grandmother's artwork, as well as three huge framed pictures and prints. I also got a package containing the possessions of a stranger (car mats). There has been no cash compensation and no evidence of my artwork being returned. I'm very disappointed since they misplaced the most sentimental and crucial aspect of my relocation. This has been the worst customer experience of my life, and I'm considering legal action for theft. This firm is a disgrace! Do not work with them!!

This is the worst company.

This is the worst corporation in the world. Save yourself the trouble and pay extra with another business. Until you sign the contract, it's just talking. I still haven't gotten my stuff, and it's been a series of problems. The Utah business they work with is just as terrible. My price increased after pickup, and I know my goods did not double; well, I'm sure they were more than I advertised, but not double. My original contract was signed in early March, and my possessions were supposed to be picked up and delivered by the end of the month. It's already the end of April, and my belongings have been picked up but are being stored in a storage trailer moving since they can't get a truck to carry them.

they don't care where your furniture is

This is an unlawful moving company that does nothing to earn their money. They provided us a delivery window of 07-14 business days based on the distance. We are on day 20, and they are refusing to honor the contract to which they agreed. They will not call you back; they do not care where your belongings are or how long you have been without them, and they will be rude when you call customer support. Privately, I speak extremely badly to you. Record all of your phone talks with them, like I do, and try to interact as much as possible via email. When difficulties develop, they will lie to you about who is in charge. When asked to produce professional verification of status, they refuse even if there is no gross negligence, a judge can look at what has transpired and overrule it. This is a horrible corporation that will leave you and your family. Don't forget that you may request your bank to reverse the payment. Don't allow them to get away with mistreating you as they did my family; hire a lawyer. This owner gets zero ratings for overall performance, customer support, connection, ethics, and follow-through.

Stay away from this company

They don't have their own moving vehicles and instead hire, which is even worse than these people. Do not put your valuables in the hands of this firm. They are brokers and they damaged my furniture in the moving. Horrible company!!

Dishonest job

Do not book any services with these people !! They are dishonest and unprofessional persons. Gold Standard Moving and Storage will subcontract the work to a real moving firm, and you may not get your belongings within the time limit you choose. Read the small print and let yourself 30 days before receiving anything! They have no sympathy for long-distance movers and will request a non-refundable deposit, so you are practically trapped with them!!
