Move from Tacoma Washington to New York

If I could rate minus 5, I would. Poorly packed, dropped tv and fragile box on sidewalk while loading. Movers sat on light blue leather recliner in truck eating pizza and ate and drank items from fridge including two pounds of cherries. Cherry pits were everywhere inside apartment building. Used minimal packing material to wrap dishes and none for pots and pans and other kitchen ware. Took hours to pack studio apartment. When unloaded I had a broken bed and nightstand, hole gouged in loveseat, metal objects dented, quoted price increased by more than $2500. Worst move I’ve ever had and I have moved a minimum of 12 times, multiple states. A complete nightmare. Local office was in Renton WA. Beware. Do not use. You will regret it.

Fraudulent

You are truly better off just selling all of your household goods and buying new ones than using this company. Honestly I’d rather GIVE it all away than go through the nightmare i am with these people. After all of our items were loaded, at almost midnight, they suddenly changed the price (that had already been increased) from 9k to 12k. I am not exaggerating with is say that almlst every single item (and every large item) arrived broken or damaged, and they put holes in almost every wall of our new home. 3 couches damaged beyond repair, didn’t room table, our bed, broken exercise equipment (how??), trashed boxes, mattresses, cribs, and rugs weren’t wrapped so they arrived covered in oily dirt that won’t come off. It’s like they TRIED to ruin everything. When you contact them they don’t call you back, or give you numbers to call that aren’t connected. The primary contact who said he would be there with me every step of the way suddenly doesn’t answer his email. Finally weeks later someone emailed me and sent me to another company to remedy the situation - and they are just as shady! The only thing left to do is go to small claims court.

Bad communication, bad paperwork, non-responsive

If you're looking for an opportunity to practice patience, forbearance, and non-judgment. This company is great! You will have ample opportunities to practice being a better person. It took five weeks, countless phone calls, and immense frustration to finally get my stuff. They broke my bed, my lamp, and my bike.

Move from Colorado to Illinois

The company sent our items with just one mover. He arrived late Friday night and didn’t seem very happy. There really should’ve been two movers. When my son went to the truck he saw this move or throwing boxes down. Obviously since he did not have a helper he must have been frustrated. My son ended up being the second person for him and helped him carry everything in. I don’t know how this mover would’ve done it by himself. The company made us pay before the truck driver unloaded, And even though the mover was supposed to help us set up and put everything where I needed to go, he just got in his truck and left after everything was brought into the house. When we open the box for our TV, it had a big crack in it. Probably because this mover was throwing boxes around. We reached out to the company, but keep being told to file claims. I have requested to talk to someone in management, and was very succinctly told that management or the owner may not have time to talk to me. We are very frustrated, understandably,Since the TV is damaged beyond repair. Plus they still have two more items that were not included, and they have yet to arrive. Very disappointed and frustrated in the service this company has provided us.

Very Pleased. This company is a shining example of quality moving and customer service models. I went into it a little nervous considering they were cheaper than the national name brands but what a pleasant surprise it was to have movers who work for Front Door show up in a good looking truck. I had a few more items compared to the list I provided but they were nothing but reasonable. The movers were super polite, only yes ma'ams and yes sirs from them. I'll recommend them to everyone. Strong and kind men

This was a nice moving company overall. They covered everything meticulously to avoid scratching our hardwood floors. The furniture was heavy and antique, yet they managed to move it all with ease. A lamp broke that was on it's last leg (no-pun intended) but I was soon to throw it out anyways. Excellent job.

Crew was great!

Great crew for long-distance travel! Front Door Relocation has fantastic crews on their side. I needed to relocate considerable distances, and they took care of everything! Throughout the relocation, the staff that assisted me was really enthusiastic and diligent.. Everything they performed was a top-notch job that I'm confident I wouldn't get anyplace else; I'd give them a ten out of ten!

This maneuver was flawless in every way. They showed up on time. Everything was safely transported to my new house after I packed my home. I've used a few different movers over the years, and they've all done a good job, but Front Door Moving went above and beyond to exceed my expectations! I am quite pleased with the services. My girlfriend was relocated by them! They performed admirably. They were aware of our limits during pick-up and delivery, so they contacted the building's insurance department for information. It was quick and straightforward, and they were able to pad the elevator and pack and transport all of the goods!
