Second time using FlatRate Moving
I used Flatrate moving for the second time, and I was not disappointed! Emmanuel assisted me with scheduling and paperwork for the second time, and the three movers were kind, respectful, and did an excellent job on the day of the relocation. This relocation business comes highly recommended from me. Thank you all very much!

Careful company
Moving can be difficult, but my experience with the FlatRate team put me at ease. My sales agent was polite and aware of my requirements. On the day of the transfer, I received a text message informing me of the arrival time of the truck. The guys came and were both fast and cautious in their efforts to do the process in an effective manner. I strongly suggest FlatRate Moving since the job is completed at the agreed-upon rate with no hidden fees.

Recent move
We sold our apartment in BK because of Covid, and we'll get another one when things settle down. FlatRate's white-glove packed us and will store our belongings indefinitely. They have been courteous and professional throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend it to them.
Terrible company
Stay out! Last week, we moved from NYC to NJ and booked packing and moving with Flatrate. The movers came a day before packing and didn't have enough supplies, so they just packed half of the stuff. They said they're coming with more supplies on a moving day. The day after I started to see them move our stuff without boxes. I asked them what was going on, and they said they didn't have boxes, only after I asked them to pack everything they said they were going to get the boxes. When we got to our new home, I saw that the baby's bed had a lot of teeth, and when I asked the mover, he said yes, sorry I didn't have enough blankets, so I didn't wrap it. They leaned our televisions against the wall, and we didn't check it out. The next morning, when we came to install them, we saw our living room TV (a new 65' Samsung TV) had a cracked screen that the movers were hiding from us by positioning the TV against the wall. We've been calling Flatrate multiple times, and we're asked to file a report, but it's been a week, and no one has reached us back. They sounded so nice and professional on the phone, please don't buy it like we did and don't use Flatrate to move.

Wonderful service
This wasn't my first move to FlatRate. The past one went so well that they were the only company that I called to schedule a move of some stuff and other household goods to storage, to be delivered to my new home in about two months. From my first phone call to the move itself, I've only been dealing with people who have been service-oriented and have been working professionally. The coordinator I was working with to set up things was great. He's never been able to respond quickly to an email or phone call from me. The crew that came to pack and move my stuff worked with incredible speed and efficiency; they were wonderful to watch. I'm sure others have said this, but FlatRate eliminates all stress from what could be a very stressful situation. They've got my highest recommendation
My experience
Move logistics went fine from NYC to Florida, not a great deal of communication, but picked up and delivered on time. But, in the move, several items were damaged. They were told to make a claim, did so, they said they would come back to us in 7-10 days. It's now more than six weeks, no resolution, and my e-mails won't be returned. I can´t and would not recommend this company to you.
Long distance move
FlatRate was competent, communicative and provided exceptional sales services through my actual move. I was at ease in a stressful time and would use it again without hesitation. No damage, all of them delivered over 2 days and came in a big snowstorm.
