Scam Company
SKAM SKAM SKAM Worst experience I've ever had. Use this firm at your own risk!! They received the deposit, and then the lies began. Supposed to pick up between 11/12 on two weekends later, no show, no call, then after several attempts to contact them, we finally got the customer service agent to phone back very sorry, the truck had problems, then guaranteed to pick up Tuesday between. I stated that I needed to leave here Wednesday early and that I needed to be picked up. She promised that they should have on the next three days
My move
This firm is awful. I have yet to receive my items, despite the fact that it has been 10 days. They then proceed to lie to you and refuse to provide you with any information about your belongings, and they are incredibly unprofessional. This is the worst business I've ever dealt with. DO NOT APPLY THEM. You will never know what is going on since they will not tell you anything. You can only contact customer support and dispatch does not communicate with them about anything. Save your money and don't give it to this disorganized, disrespectful, deceitful, scam of a company.
Beware!! Careful!! Warning!! Nasty!!
BEWARE!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!! We had movers arrive at the end of Sep, and he demanded extra money right away. Because I refused to give in, the mover became enraged and yelled. He grabbed the tv wires and the water line from the refrigerator out of the wall, causing water to spill. Going out the front door, I scuffed the one-year-old stainless refrigerator!! I have yet to receive reimbursement. When I returned home the next day, the kitchen and a portion of the living room had been flooded! We had to use our homeowner's insurance!! They have yet to pay us for the refrigerator, and it is now May!! Worst experience ever!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST!!
from NY to Brooklyn
All of our furnishings were damaged.
Almost all of our furnishings was ruined. We relocated from Manhattan to Brooklyn and rented a storage unit for a week. The only insurance they provided was at a cost of 60 cents per pound. There is a large dent in our wood console, a damaged door in that console, a hole in our Aeron chair, and at least half of the feet on every item with leveling feet have come off. The movers made no attempts to assist. In fact, we believe they were aware of the damage but chose not to inform us - definitely, something was spilled on the console - because they fled fast after we tipped them and we did not understand the extent of the damage until we peeled all of the blue plastic wraps. In addition, we were overcharged for various goods at the last minute.

Terrible Moving company I've ever used
NEVER EVER When it was only two blocks away, the transfer took four days. For four days, we had no towels, clothing, or bedding. Items were misplaced, damaged, and the customer service was the worst I've ever experienced! Please do yourself a favor and go with a different company.
DO NOT APPLY. I LOST MY WHOLE WARDROBE
If I could, I'd give it ZERO stars. While we had previously had a positive experience with Five Years, our most recent relocation was a complete disaster, as if we had used a completely different firm. They managed to misplace a package holding the majority of my apparel. How do you misplace a huge package traveling 15 miles? My suspicion is that they left it in the truck and covered it with trash, then forgot to notify us. Reckless, irresponsible, irresponsible. They shattered another item that we were planning to place in my vehicle, but they insisted on wrapping it nicely and loading it onto the truck. It was never wrapped and came in a state of disarray. So heedless. One worker, in particular, refused to remove his mask after repeated requests that he quit wearing it as a chin diaper. Extremely unsafe and insulting, as well as a blatant violation of the company's purported covid safety guidelines. Then, once they were completed, one of the workers returned to my house to try to pull me into a quarrel about the supervisor's division of the tip (which was very generous despite my issues, since I had not yet realized a box was missing). Overall, they are inept, reckless, and unconcerned about following health and safety procedures. I promptly reported all of these concerns (save the missing box) and received a generally apathetic response. When I reported the missing package, I was ignored at first, then received another apathetic answer and "promise to check for it." Two weeks later, there has been no response from the firm. Use them at your own risk!
they took possession of money and assets
can help you plan a move from New York to North Carolina. He assured us that the fee was reasonable and that we had nothing to worry about. His number is still inaccessible via phone, text, or email 10 days later. They stole almost $1500 from us, and now a complete house's worth of merchandise is sitting someplace in New Jersey. A police complaint is being made, the company is based in Colorado, but the cell phone number is in New Jersey. The insurance firm that has the cargo coverage is also unavailable. Everything points to a swindle thievery ring. Quoted $3000, then increased to $4600 once the truck was loaded.
Scammers!!
They were incredibly polite and helpful when I originally hired them. But I haven't heard from them since they were paid and hauled off my stuff. I'm calling police enforcement, and I'm going to track down the firm associated with the phone numbers they used to contact me. Please do not do business with this firm! I assumed it was a legitimate firm because I discovered it on this website.
Dreadful move
Working with them was a dreadful nightmare. Everyone warned you about the relocation firm. They'll quote something, and then when they arrive to pick up at your location, they'll quote something completely ludicrous. Unfortunately, you're so packed and ready to leave that you don't have much of an option except to acquiesce. Also, the customer service is abysmal—no one bothers to respond to upset clients.
Worst experience
HORRIBLE! They grabbed all of our silver! We didn't get roughly one-third of our boxes. It arrived three weeks late, with shattered dishes and damaged packaging. The service was HORRIBLE. They also quoted us at 300 cubic feet, then charged us for 500 cubic feet, and then the manifest read 300 cubic feet upon delivery! I phoned the company and was kept on hold for an hour each time. I went via BBB, and they refused to correct the problem, instead of allowing it to lower their BBB score.
