Missing Items!

HORRIBLE! They grabbed all of our silver! We didn't get roughly one-third of our boxes. It arrived three weeks late, with shattered dishes and damaged packaging. The service was HORRIBLE. They also quoted us at 300 cubic feet, then charged us for 500 cubic feet, and then the manifest read 300 cubic feet upon delivery! I phoned the company and was kept on hold for an hour each time. I went via BBB, and they refused to correct the problem, instead of allowing it to lower their BBB score.

Don't bother with them

Five Years From Now INC  was the worst experience I've ever had. Please keep this firm in mind. They are smooth talkers; they entice you to give them your business, they pack your belongings, then after they are placed onto the truck, they inform you that you have used more space than was predicted and you must pay extra. You are rendered powerless. You must pay them or you will not receive anything. They pushed back my delivery date by 20 days. You can imagine the anguish I must have felt even after paying them nearly double the projected price, despite the fact that the list of things calculated and loaded was identical. For a two-bedroom apartment, they cost me $5400. I had the bare necessities of a two-bedroom apartment. Finally, but not least. They are not, as they say, a moving business. When they disclose that we are a moving business rather than brokers, their objectives are clear.  Please save both your money and your time. . They aren't nice people. They are only interested in your money and do not have excellent business objectives to help you.

Awful service

You should not hire this moving business. It is not a BBB-accredited business. It has a number of complaints. Please choose a BBB-accredited moving company, even if their initial estimate is expensive. This firm is only an agent, and the actual relocation is handled by another company, which will cost you at least three to four times their quote. They appear and inform you that your furniture is larger than we expected. Don't be fooled by this company's Google reviews, which show one person awarding it 5 stars several times. If someone is truly pleased with their move with the firm, they will just evaluate it once, not six or seven times. However, if they had a negative experience, I am sure they would evaluate it several times to ensure that other people do not go through the same ordeal. I hired this business based on Google reviews and fell into the trap of paying four times my estimate just to have my belongings packed very unprofessionally and not even correctly, with at least $5000 worth of my belongings destroyed.

I'm waiting yet

We were really unhappy and will never recommend this business to anyone for a cross-country (our scenario) or even a local relocation. We have yet to get our things, and we presently do not have an anticipated departure OR arrival date for our items, which were picked up in California 17 days ago. If at all possible, I would offer a 0-star rating. This firm is not at all what it promises to be on its website. They are not a moving firm, but they know how to store your belongings and leave them there in cooperation with any random second-rate moving company they chose to do business with.

I give them zero stars!

They make promises they can't meet and delegate the actual relocation to whichever moving company best suits their purposes. Mine was supposed to arrive in 1-10 business days, however, it took 22 days. I couldn't sleep since I didn't have a bed. They shattered at least ten things that are no longer recoverable. You should save your money and move.

Worst business ever! Not to be used

I would give this firm 0 stars if I could. I'm set to start a residency in general surgery on Friday. They were scheduled to move me on Monday. They didn't show up, and they didn't call to let us know there was an issue. We had to contact them and wait for an hour before speaking with anyone. They just canceled our relocation after speaking with many individuals. It's a horrible company.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!! The worst is Five Years From Now INC!  My representative, lied about everything, and the corporation will cheat, lie, and take your money. Five Years From Now INC is not even a moving firm; they are a third-party agency that employs low-cost movers. Many of my belongings were either stolen or ruined, and Five Years From Now INC firm would respect the contract and compensate me for thousands of dollars in losses. In my perspective, Five Years From Now INC is a criminal enterprise! Never, ever use them!

HORRIBLE | FIRST CHECK REVIEWS

I arranged for a relocation with them to be delivered on the day I arrived in our new state. Move from Illinois to Colorado. I also paid. We discover out after we move that our belongings would not be delivered for another three weeks, and they demand extra money to acquire them immediately. They've been contacted, but they couldn't care less and won't do anything to help. Awful company with even worse leadership. Be cautious and read reviews.
