STAY AWAY!
Under no circumstances should you use this company. Positive reviews are created by this bad organization. We had the worst moving experience of our lives. John's phone quote was significantly lower, by roughly $6,000. The automobile transporter did not appear. Several items were broken and lost by the furniture movers. They never answer the phone. John was a smooth talker with false promises and shady business methods.
Smooth moving
My budget was low, but I was willing to pay for quality, thus the quote was higher than the real cost. I was able to stay within my moving budget and was very pleased with the assistance I received. Quick delivery, well-trained team, and no damage or errors. Everything went perfectly, so my life was not disrupted, and I didn't even have to worry about the relocation. I will absolutely use and refer this company in the future.
Great Choice
I tried not to read too much about moving feedback when I was making my decision. I wanted to make sure that I gave each company a fair shot, without knowing nothing about when going into the process. I chose five companies that I was going to talk to and I got the prices from them all. Once I started looking at the companies, I ruled out a couple of brokers. In the end, I selected First Call Relocations. They were the kindest and most accessible, not a broker, of course. They did such a high-quality job of moving all this furniture, and it just took them a couple of hours. The best mover I've ever used.
Hire them!
First Call Relocations was an enough first call. We spent time with them going into each room and putting together a list of items to be moved. We also needed two of our cars to move at the same time, and they've planned for us as well. Everything was picked up on the same day and delivered on the same day. We've got calls to let us know when to expect them at every end.The work and service they were delivering was clean and truthful. At any point in our house, we weren't uncomfortable with these guys. They were polite and welcoming, and we were very grateful to have worked with them.
Terrible experience
We received an offer from Mark Wallace for $5700 after walking through our house, giving him a description of all the furniture, etc. When the truck arrived we were told that the cost would be $12,000!! Pay in cash now or they're going to leave. I talked to Tyler on the phone, and he was told to pay in cash now, or the truck would move on to the next assignment. If we were to have a problem, it should be taken up with customer service. That day, we had to be out of the house, so we had no alternative but to pay. Subsequent calls and e-mails to the company have been walled in stone for three months. I'm going to continue my quest to get my money back.
Scammers!
They bait and switch customers regularly (go read the Better Business Bureau). The movers arrived and said that we had "way more than they were expecting" and wanted to charge me 4x for what I was quoted. It's just a scam. If you're trying to get your money back or want to take a customer service rep, they're going to hang on to you. The least competent business I've ever been working with. They also keep opening up new accounts on review websites (like Yelp) so that people won't know how many bad reviews they have. They're clearly creating fake profiles or having their employees post on Google. It's super obvious because they've all been posting 5 star reviews around the same time.
Smooth move
The first call was simply perfect. They've been managing every facet of this relocation. It was so quick to call to set the move up. Matt was so kind and supportive. The four movers who completed the transfer for us were fantastic, too. Price was really good and I would highly recommend First Call Relocations to everyone I know is moving.
