They give you a very low estimate to hook you on the price and then when the actual move happens, the prices go up. I had another company set up for my move and changed to them over the better prices and ended up paying more with them. When you try to talk about it, their managers on turn are extremely rude and unhelpful. They assured me on 3 different occasions that my move would not go over a certain amount of space and claimed that this is what caused the the discrepancy in prices, but the driver told me without even looking at my stuff that I would go over the agreed upon space.

Don’t do it!! They are just a broker that hires the cheapest labor from uhaul to do the job! All of your stuff won’t fit or cannot be moved without an appliance dolly, which they don’t require actual movers to have. Then they will transfer your stuff to another truck midway and destroy everything!!

Last minute changes will occur and quotes will change by 50%. Believe me!!!! They will screw you every way possible. I was quoted two 26’ trucks for $7300 then it was one truck for $9800. Ridiculous! Now I have to hire a third party to finish the job! Google has no reviews on this company and no way to leave one!! Strange huh!!

This company is third party!they are scammers and liars. Search for a mover directly yourself and save your money. They don’t do their due diligence on the movers they hire nor do they let you know who they’re using until the day before even when you ask. The woman over the phone is rude and speaks as if you’re an idiot or lying. They made my move 10 times more stressful and expensive. I would never recommend anyone use them ever.

Empire Moving is a complete scam. They bury complaints under tons of fake reviews. Their company doesn’t even do the move. They subcontract it out. They are well known for quoting prices that are not final quotes. Then, the actual moving company jacks prices up to pick up, and then again to deliver, because the original quote underestimated the amount items/square feet being moved. Avoid Kyle at all costs. He has no problem lying, then forwarding his number to customer service after he’s scammed you. Absolute trash. Absolutely NO EXAGGERATION.
By far the BIGGEST SCAM EVER
No stars. This company is a complete joke and truly scam you. They are a broker and use third party movers- the movers even told us they are a scam company and would not recommend them, not even for their own personal use. They don’t give you a contact, require cash to get your items or else they won’t deliver, so essentially hold your items hostage. Lie to you about pick up and drop off, movers did not show up TWICE, after we were told they would on specific dates and timeframes. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Will be taking them to court

Everything they say to get you to take the job is a lie. When we noticed it, they told us it was too late to get our money back. Customer support is a joke, and they do not return calls. I was promised a callback two days ago. This company should not be used. Get out of there. Run as far as you can. I'm thinking of taking this to court. Danielle, the "manager," has refused to return my calls for several days.

The entire procedure was stressful and easy. Friendly and courteous employees, as well as attentive and efficient movers. Maybe I could use these again but I think that the prices are a bit higher than other moving companies they should make another look up into this moving service website

they are extortionists and liars. Buyer beware - this was a nightmare that every family fears. They are demolitionists, not movers, and have destroyed valuable things that have been in my family for almost 50 years. Empire Moving Group LLC SHOULD NOT BE USED. They have been reported to the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau - they have multiple complaints, so don't believe the ratings you're reading.
Horrible service
On the day of the move, I received a call indicating that the truck had broken down and was beyond repair and that I would have to wait two weeks for the next vehicle. I was relocating Empire Moving Group LLC and was due to start a new job the following week. I had to book another business because the first one couldn't do it on such short notice. This is something I would never use. I'm not sure how they earn such good ratings. I'd put 0 if I could.

The Bureau of Compliance is the responsible regulatory authority that manages intrastate movers. Movers should be registered with the FMCSA to operate interstate.
